Yes more of this! Lands, mana dorks, and synergy pieces like treasure staples or burn damage staples, best draw cards. Love the concept giving each color some love and honestly with power creep their are new cards that should be considered staples

We need more removals, more interaction... I miss 2009, where all we needed was lands and a couple of mana rocks, highly costy sorceries and creatures to play commander.

it's a little on the pricier side but Anguished Unmaking is premier removal in decks with Black and White in them.

I think rescult deserves a mention and imo is better than reality shift because it can hit artifacts. Sure they get a 4/4 but that's just 1 more power and toughness than beast within and generous gift. Also the manifest can be back breaking if it's a creature.

I love videos like this. Another Pod member and I would listen to these Need More Removal videos and would praise them until we had maybe 14-17 removal spells and we recently started cutting removal while our other pod members have maybe 6 interaction, and they play sorcery speed and complaining how we pop off more then them

I think in a conversation about good removal from recent sets I think Tear Asunder absolutely needs to be mentioned, Exile removal for 1G for art/ench or any nonland permanent if you kick it

I think Resculpt is slept on and one of the best blue removal spells. Better than Reality Shift imo and super cheap

I think Reality Shift is worse than Resculpt. 4/4 Elemental is bigger, but it can't ever act like card draw like Reality Shift does. Also, hitting Artifacts gives more flexibility.

Decimate to me is one of the best and underplayed commander cards out there. 4 for 1 and almost always live, you do need one of each legal targets but with 4 at a table i've never seen this no be castable and worse case scenario you could self target something and make it a 3 for 2.

I am really coming around to Baleful Mastery being a top include. The alt cost really isnt too much of a downside considering we are in a singleton format. Maybe you draw them into gas maybe you don't. Either way that single copy of a creature/planeswalker is gone.

How could you miss Resculpt. That card is premium removal but so underrated all because it released around the same time as Ravenform which is terrible because of sorcery speed.

My second black creature removal spell is vendetta. "1 Black, destroy target nonblack creature, it can't be regenerated. You lose life equal to that creature's toughness." To my surprise that is very rarely played, even compared to doomblade. Is the life cost that bad for being 1 mana less than doomblade?

If you’re new to Magic, PLEASE don’t start with commander. Go with pauper or modern. Commander is a waste of time and money just for your decks to not line up power level wise with others and people get butthurt and it’s just bad vibes. Commander is for sad 30+ year olds

Us 30+ year olds are the ones with the huge collections who can build cool decks. I do agree though....start with a simple format don't jump straight into commander,the interactions are very complex for a new player....not a great starting point.
