Nice job. A couple of ideas. Use pool noodle or foam pipe insulation to pad the wood edges. Build it long and narrow like a surf board. Use two of the more powerful blowers mounted on the front and plumbed to the back. Use a modified venturi to increase pressure or velocity. A vinyl tarp is more durable but adds some weight. Use a skirt that curves inward at the bottom and the bladder with holes. Make the skirt with an angle low in front higher in the back. Raising the back should increase air pressure to push you forward. Steering could be accomplished using wheeled levers on either side or just lean to steer.

This is super cool! However, an actual hovercraft is created by mounting two superconducting discs (one at 1:1 size, another at 2/3rds the size of that one) so that they are parallel but instead move against each others rotation. When charged superconducting discs are arranged this way, it is called a repulsine motor. It produces a toroidal shaped energy field which can be rotated on its axis (with some kind of computer control) to push against the attractive forces of gravity and vehicularize it.
