The disney one was actually kinda funny if you squint at it the right way. There’s a joke amongst lgbt animation fans about who’s gonna draw the short straw to be disney’s next “first openly gay character”, cause they keep making background characters gay and then making a huge deal about it in the press for publicity. In the state I went to high school, sex ed had two permission slips, one to talk about sex ed at all and one to talk about the existence of queer people. The school even sent out a warning so parents could opt their students out of a presentation made by the Queer Straight Alliance club that was basically an anti-bullying presentation when they didn't do this for any other club doing a similar thing.

My conservative mother had always pulled me out of any required sexual education classes. I was forced to sit in the library and do homework over learning about my body. Had she ever sat down and had “the talk” with me about any of it? no. I had to do research on questions i had to find the answers. This is an absolutely ridiculous way of avoiding the sex talk and if I had never answered my own questions- who knows what unwanted situation I could be in. I do not know if they had taught queer sex ed back then but sex is sex regardless and teens should be taught that if they’re going to do it, do it in the safest way possible. I hated my sheltered upbringing but it only came back to slap her in the face when she realized I was going to learn on my own then.

It’s crazy how conservatives think that sex Ed and the school system in general is like this very accepting “liberal brainwashing” place that only talks about gay sex and pronouns. Like honestly the only things they really taught us during sex Ed at my school was anatomy stuff and a video of a woman giving birth 😭. Literally where did they get this idea that school and teachers are extremely accepting and teach students about being gay and trans, school is so strict with gender and My school made us have girls and boys only teams for gym even for sports like tennis, and teachers completely refused to use one of my friends pronouns or even acknowledge them, none of my friends ever have their correct pronouns used especially because a lot of teachers that I’ve had were very unaccepting and it’s too scary and risky to even say anything. It’s like they get so mad at this world that they completely made up. I also really hate how they show learning about being gay and trans and stuff as sexual when they would literally show us pictures of genitalia and go in depth when learning about straight sex in sex Ed, they really just see gay ppl as sexual and nothing more.

I once saw one of these - it was about a woke dude building a time machine so that he could bring soldiers forward from WW2 to help fight fascism in the Trump era. But when he brought them back and told them they were going to fight for gay rights and trans rights, they revealed (to his *shock* and *amazement*!) that people in the 1940s didn't much care for gay people and trans people. The upshot being that the Greatest Generation's values are superior to the misguided views of liberals in the present day. The thing that was unintentionally funny about the cartoon however was that in the cartoon, there were three soldiers and one of them was Black. In WW2, the US army was segregated. So the white soldiers who didn't share the social values of a 21st century lib cuck would also presumably not share the view that they'd be willing to fight alongside a Black man. I guess Freedom Toons either doesn't know about segregation, or just things his audience doesn't.

As a self taught animator I was interested to see who the artist behind this channel is. This isn't meant to start a witch hunt. In fact I strongly advice against it because it will only lead to confirmation of his views, giving him a reason to say "look! Look how sensitive liberals are! I'm being oppressed!" So don't do that please. His name is Sheamus Coughlin and there isn't all that much info about him online (his name was very easy to find, all public knowledge). He has a comic, I think? Maybe some other credits but I can't find anything else. There are a few interviews that you can watch with him. I don't have the time to pick them apart myself. He is actually a libertarian and not a republican, although these days who the frick knows the difference.... Being Libertarian isnt what it used to be. If he were truly libertarian in the original sense of the word he would be making fun of all government parties. What I will do though is humbly offer a fun little roast. I can tell you that I honestly thought this was animation from some third party sweat shop in southeast Asia because it looks like something you'd hire someone else to do overseas for a quick business presentation. I was genuinely surprised to learn that it was done by an independent person and not an overseas budget studio. Bad tweening, boring color schemes, stupid exaggerated facial expressions meant to be funny but horribly executed. I don't have to tell any of you how incredibly unfunny the jokes/ gags are. This is mostly technical criticism mind you, and has nothing to do with his personal beliefs. No inspiration, crappy family guy rip off. Ongo Gablogian said it best: "Derivative, Derivative, Derivative" Imagine spending weeks of hard work on animations that turn out like this. I can't. I'd throw in the towel and become an insurance salesman. That's the furthest occupation from an animator that I can think of. he should go be that instead.

I stay away from the Tim Pool stuff for personal reasons but I did see Tim Pools name in some of the results. in good conscience I stuck with criticism about his animation and not his beliefs, because I've never heard of this guy in my life and knew nothing about him before this video. I also mentioned his interviews in my original comment. But anyway thank you, now I know a bit more.

And he's tweening like crazy which looks cheap, because he's pumping them out. When you pump stuff out you typically have to give up a bit of quality for the short amount of time. And also I can say whatever I want, at the end of the day it's my opinion and you don't have to agree with it, and I'm fine with that. His animation is total dookie though.
