I'm just here to tell Jakei that she is extremely talented as an animator and more importantly, as a series maker. It's crazy to think that we have this series running for over 5 years and it never once dropped on quality. On the contrary, it just increasingly got better and better as episodes passed by and that's still the case nowadays. Honestly just thinking about how Jakei and her co-workers can maintain a series *so* high quality running and still find some room on improvements is just mind boggling to me. I Remember briefly tuning into an animating stream that you did once, which gave me some true insight into how long and annoying animation could truly be. (Though, I had the gist of it before, it’s different to see how grueling it is in action.) And, if my memory were to serve me right, the explosion at 0:16 -specifically when the explosion goes off- took a while to draw; with the motion lines and everything. But that moment within real time is so quick compared to the time it spent to draw everything within the small frames that it is shown. Mad respect to animators, such as yourself.

this sounds odd but my favorite part of each new episode is seeing (possibly seeing I mean) each animatic or storyboard bc it's both a; inspiring, and b; a reminder of how much work it takes. Putting your thoughts onto paper is really hard, especially image wise bc you can't do the "exact product" straight from ur brain so it's a time consuming and stressful process
