X-Gaster shouldn't be much for Error, Ink, Fresh, and Fatal Error. Fresh is a parasite, which can even be a big nuisance for Error and Ink, and already in this chapter he showed how powerful he really is. Fatal Error has all the powers of Error, but it lacks experience, even so it can corrupt code in a better way than Error and it is crazier than Error itself, so in a certain sense it is even more dangerous. Error is a glitch, he can control any soul just by trapping them with his threads, fight against hackers, and he has a lot of experience fighting gods. Error really should be able to beat Fatal Error if it wasn't for the factor of his past in Aftertale, but people just underestimate Error. And Ink that literally his powers come from the true omnipotent beings of Undertale AU and that his role is to fight against guys like Error, Fatal Error and Fresh. While X-Gaster needs to use a button to be really powerful in this crazy world of Out! Codes.

I like to think that in Ink's fight with Error, Error thought the script was too boring so instead of following the script, he improvised and basically vented about how his popularity in the show was going down because of Ink and on the sudden improv moment, Ink instantly came up with a witty response to keep it going and Jakei decided she liked it better than the original script.

Fresh...is actually smarter then I thought. He figured out everyone's weaknesses on the short time he met them. First off, he found error habephobia from when they met in xtale, and in battle when he glitched out after cross punched him. Next he found out ink drying out from using too much paint while he was fighting error. If you noticed everytime ink used an attack, his eyes had less color. And his reliance on his vials since he literally can't do anything without them. And he used their weaknesses against them. He knew ink HAD to use his vials...so he stole them knowing he would chase him and infected them knowing he would drink them. He used the spray cans to create hands knowing error has a fear of being touched to win the fight without actually fighting. Also very manipulative as he used ink's own philosophy against him to justify his actions saying that it's what he wanted. He pretends to be dumb when he is actually the smartest in the room. Genius use of his character Jael👍

I got to applaud Jakei. They have been putting so much effort into making underverse a reality, not cutting any corners in the animation process. Despite the amount of effort required, and the toxicity from those who think the process of creating underverse should be going much faster. So many of us appreciate your stamina, required to keep animating underverse and we really appreciate it. Being a prime (although not sole) example of talent in the undertale AU community. I was so confused in season 1 when I realized that Ink wasn't inherently good. He only cares about creation, not keeping the created alive. He supports XGaster because he creates not because his creations make the world better. I'm glad Ink finally realized he was wrong. Also, I love Fresh even more now!

It comes from the fact that Ink is an unfinished creation. He was created but was never finished: he's static. That's why he needs his vials of paint to feel emotion. But the fact that he can naturally feel "regret" (aka the emotions of the Blue Color Spectrum, which was full this whole episode: meaning he never drank it throughout this episode) shows that whoever his creator was in-universe, they feel regret for not being able to finish him. Ink calls what he's doing a "game" but really, it's just his own way to take his anger and frustration out on the multiverse because he thinks he can't experience anything new or exciting because, like I said, he's static, unfinished. All Fresh and Core did was point out that as "The Guardian" he actually WAS experiencing what he wanted to experience. It doesn't matter how little it was because even the smallest change effects the multi-verse and thus him. ...and because seriously Ink needed a kick in the butt because he DOES know better...

@@umamifan According to Ink's creator, Comyet (aka Mye Bi), Ink's a "conceptional Sans." He represents Undertale AU ideas that never get off the ground. We all know those. A whole ton of fandom is made of unfinished work, be it fanfics, art, animations, you name it. Thereforth Ink himself an unfinished creation. In his own canon (aka what Comyet has shared), Ink is souless because he destroyed his own soul due to despair of him being the first and only character of his world to have a soul. But it was because of this destruction of his soul that he was able to escape his world, and landed in a white void that would eventually become the Doodle Sphere. But the destruction of his soul and time spent the blank Doodle Sphere had pretty much left him unable to feel emotions, leading to his need to rely on colors in order to feel strongly. He hasn't really lost access to emotions, but they are very much muted to the point where he feels emotionless. A random unknown creator dropped the paintbrush with the colors into the Doodle Sphere void, allowing Ink to discover how the multiverse works through the colors.

Remember that fighting scenes takes a long LONG time no animate, a single panel can take at least 7 hours or more, and the worst part is... That Fatal_Error isnt here yet, since he's a challenge to animators, and remember that the animation is not the only thing that is made... The storyline, the music, the sound effects... God, thats a lot to take... Remember that jakei works by herself and she has nyx and strelok's help, so please my friends!! Dont push her! Dont ask for the next part! Dont insult her! I just realized this on my second watch but at 12:46 (and during Ink vs Fresh's fight) you can see the only full vial Ink has is blue, for sadness or integrity. I feel like Ink leaves it full because he'd rather not have to feel those things after what he's done, just a thought :^)

I think it's the opposite - about what he DOES have! At 18:07, Fresh asks what Kindness even is, and similarly tosses away Justice in favor of a Perseverance/XGaster based game, displaying the Bravery Ink needed to go so far to bring it to fruition in his text as well. Assuming all colors matter here, using Patience to consider the Magic Cure All could refer to how Ink lives, worked, or both. I'm not sure what the Magenta color means (Fear? Joy?), but Ink is ultimately left with neutral and Integrity, as he finally takes in the situation alongside morals rather than shoving his doubt under the others. He's finally aligned as a hero, at least for the time being. Of course, I would not be surprised if the first turned out correct and Ink absorbs everything he was missing, and I'm overthinking part of this.

It just hit me that Frisk and Ink were both the same all along. In 0.4, Ink admits he plays this game for his own amusement, even if it takes a few lives, before starting it over and over again. It took Fresh telling him it was purely evil in front of his face to make him change. We can then look at Frisk, or well, us, the player, who did the exact same with Undertale, which was revealed to everyone belonging to this same universe earlier in the episode. Both seem to be on a redemption arc and we could assume them teaming up at some point, despite indirectly being enemies because of their respective relationship with XGaster. I could likely see Ink changing his mind and trying to safekeep the remaining AUs from him (though it seems only Undertale, Xtale and the Omega Timeline are left at this point anyway)

I've only just noticed this, but in Soulless Heart, we can see Ink's silhouette, but it's unclear which way he's facing. I checked back in the episode and he usually wears his brush with the end visible over his left shoulder. This means in Soulless Heart he's facing AWAY from XGaster. I think that was foreshadowing his "redemption" all along and how he helps stop the "game" they've been playing. Just a theory tho lol :P

Ink's original design (the one we see throughout underverse s1 and until now) has the tip of his brush pointing to the left side, yes BUT Ink's redesign places the tip of his brush on the right side. And we see thanks to the wide pants and the lack of the wrapped hoodie, in the outro we're seeing Ink's redesign. Thus meaning he IS looking AT XGaster. Tho the fact that he is looking at him is still a good thing, he is no longer looking away, he's facing the issue, his demons, and the "friend" that lied to him. Kinda funny and ironic. Ink betrayed the entire Multiverse for XGaster, and now he realises XGaster lied to him.

My explanation, which I am writing, may be even for myself, and for those who are not sure whether they have understood it correctly. Ink supports creation, for him creation is the best thing that can be, and when the Creators create, it fills his vials with all the beautiful emotions, as we can see from Ink, most of these emotions are positive or stimulate to uplift, to act. These emotions are creation. In the previous part, Ink asked for a gift from XGaster - a vial with the emotion of creation. Ink expected this emotion to be pleasant and inspiring as always. But apparently, for XGaster, creation is pain. Therefore, when Ink drank the vial, what he felt was what XGaster feels when he creates

Ya know, the fact that Papyrus and Asgore were still willing to protect Frisk, if largely to make them answer for their sins, instead of immediately letting them get taken by XPapyrus, is miles touching. I don't think I can say the same for Undyne, unfortunately. Though no doubt she still wants Frisk alive so they can explain everything. Nothing will be the same after this. Not unless Frisk resets, and with XGaster present, they can't. Also, i must ask: with the red text, was that Chara talking to Frisk about their insecurities? I can't think of any other character or dialogue that has red text. XAsriel's first hint as Omega Flowey??? That'll be an interesting development. I still don't seem to quite understand Fresh's motivations. Or if he even has any at all. What's his role in the long run? Who does he ally with? He wanted to warn Error and Ink, which are in the top tier power levels, that he, too, can mess things up if he feels like it. Damn, what an episode. The most unexpected outcome was the gift and Fresh's involvement in the storyline, now we know how he had been pulling punches, that Fresh!Ink is exactly what it is (Ink being taken over by Fresh) and might return in the future, and his well-timed insight onto XGaster's insecurities - that delivery over hostility hits home hard. (poor Error tho, spotlight stolen, ass kicked by the combination of his most hated people, basically reduced to comedy) And somehow I did make a close guess on what happened this ep, after thinking over "A Cure For Amnesia". Just that it wasn't Frisk who revealed the truth, XGaster just casually made his way to it. Will be very interested in how everyone in Main Universe (well, Glitched Main Universe to be exact) will act after that revelation. Overall, there's quite a lot of plot points to be processed. I only discovered this series a couple hours ago but holy crap this is incredible. I’ve watched it all and it’s just beautiful and so well done I love it so much! The story is great, the animation, the art, it’s all so good! Can’t wait for more!

I finally got around to watching season 1 and Xtale and I have to say. The storytelling in this series is just so amazing and I’m happy to be here to watch s2 unfold in real time instead of binging everything
