I love your content, I really do. But... based on my experiences there are some things in this video that I feel I need to comment on before someone loses a JF. Just my opinions, but based on years of experience including PushX and other JF corps; 1. NEVER jump to your cyno by right-clicking your capacitor wheel. ALWAYS do it from the cyno 's name in the fleet window. One day you'll click on a beacon that's not you 2. ALWAYS have your eCyno (escape or GTFO cyno) up and ready, especially doing the HS pipe into Jita. You packed yours down in the video so had no eCyno available 3. D-scan to the outgate (HS to LS) can't be relied on. Just ask anyone who's been bumped by a cloaked Panther in Ignoitton. Hence the eCyno on 3rd account or log off cyno 1 and have cyno 2 up and ready to GTFO 4. Your method of lighting the cyno instantly on undock? Apart from bumping off station, some stations will see your JF arrive outside the docking ring and vulnerable to attack as you boat into docking range. Your cyno placement needs to be more considered using the docking ring circle and 5km cyno sphere to make sure you always arrive in docking range. I really do love your stuff so I don't want to come across as critical, but when someone has 10B-50B at risk, I just feel this needs much more care and attention. So YES, I guess I'll have to put my money where my mouth is and do up a video that covers the issues I've raised o7

Valid points. I’ve personally have never came out outside of dock range doing it this way. I also read the character name in the jump menu. If you try and rush then mistakes can be made but I personally don’t rush with jumping. As far as the ecyno. I do pack in the in system cyno so it’s not just sitting undocked. And if the JF is still in system it’s not much good. If scouting means I need an out of system emergency then it will be ready. The topic of jumping is so subjective and the method changes based on personal concerns and experiences.

@@JAKEL33T I just read the other day about kick out stations, where you can't immediately redock. Never really paid attention before. For instance in Thera, half the stations are kick outs, one has a huge perimeter. If you are routinely using the same one that isn't you'd never know others were different.

Getting back into EVE and this brings back memories! Only thing for me was the cyno at station, I used to like jumping in away from the undock, bad experience once (nothing lost) but like that last gate to High Sec it was stressful. Great content as always, thanks.

Just in case no one else mentioned it, Supers can't dock in NPC Stations, they only can dock in a Keepstar. Regular Capital Ships also can't dock in a Tatara only Rorqs can. On that note though all these ships will teather to a Player Station so you do have that if you can't dock. Just wanted to add this point so anyone who reads the comments knows this before making a bad mistake causing them to lose their ship.

For your cyno ships if you are not constantly packaging/repackaging the ship you can right-click on the cyno and turn off the auto-repeat function which will give you one less thing to worry (or forget) about

I would love to see how you managed to go thru camps with the blockade runner including bubbles set at the destination gate you are jumping to. I have seen just one video so far that talks about it but and I guess unless I try myself I would be able to learn.

its really simple, especially with a BR, just hit IN before you hit the bubble (if on the outer gate) if a bubble is on the first gate just hit IN before yiu hit warp

You can be bumped off the gate as you land on it. You need to make a BM in the gate and warp to that.

I'm sure you've learned this since you made the video but you don't have to worry about bubbles in lowsec, they can't be used there. Nice video though, I like your style!

Great walk through! At the LS to HS jump around 40min you are not actually d-scanning the gate? You rotate the map, but not the cone, so you're not actually hitting the gate with the scan. Or am I missing something here? Press hold v, click the gate in overview, your view and scan cone should rotate and the gate will get a cyan outline on the dscan map if it is in the range and angle. Which it isn't before you are iumping, because the gate isn't showing up on the scan, which it should if it were pointed right at it.

It’s done on the test server for mechanic demonstration & OPSEC proposes. Also if you have a custom preset that shows ships and not the physical gates then the gates themselves won’t show. But yea your camera needs to be pointing in the direction of what you want to scan if your not 360 degrees.

I noticed that you basically just undocked your cyno ship and lit the cyno right off the undock. Is it still possible that a JF can "bounce" far off a station from a badly placed cyno or is that no longer a thing?

To miss it you’d have to sit there for like 10 secs staring at it bouncing before you’d miss the chance to dock… if your really really slow at right clicking and clicking dock then you shouldn’t be using a JF. Also I rarely bounce, sometimes on keepstars but for me personally I’ve NEVER had an issue doing it this way.

Returning after about 10 years, there was a time you had to carefully place a cyno b/c the freighter would load randomly off the cyno itself 5km off, and if that 5km intersected the station you would bounce off it. It would literally send you out at like 1,000km/s to 20k or so off the station.

@@asmi06 thanks. I've also since learned about (fortunately not the hard way) booshers, so it's still generally not a good idea to cyno at the undock.
