please explain how do you ZOOM on 2:32......what keys do you use..??
@Vetterli7 жыл бұрын
If you hold down Option/Alt and scroll to either side or up and down you'll get that smooth zooming :)

adding to what Vetterli said, you scroll with two fingers on your trackpad while you hold Opt/alt

I thought we already had transpose feature? What is different about now?
@JakeMasca7 жыл бұрын
The transpose works directly with audio in the arrangement view, and it guesses the flex mode automatically (which is whats different now i believe). Still needs a lot of improvement.

How is side chain compression accomplished in this update? Why is it not easily available?
@JakeMasca7 жыл бұрын
not sure why its not easily available freetimeprojex but the sidechain compression is available directly from the compressor plugin. Let me know if you still cant find it and i can give you more specific instructions.

For the last 20 years, Logic's side-chaining with compression has always been accomplished the same way. Wouldn't be much of a DAW without the basics. No update will change that lol

My choose a tack type drop down menu does not look like that, with the green, blue and orange boxes. Running 10.3.2. What gives?

Hi. Thanks for the review! Can I ask if I want to use a mono plugin on stereo track can I do it in Logic? Is there anything that could multiply/add another (the same) mono plugin to be used together on stereo track?
@thekeysman67607 жыл бұрын
Yes. Since 10.3, on stereo tracks insert plugins can be stereo or dual mono. And some mono plugs will mono a stereo track nowadays.

As if we need the interface to change again. Sheesh.

Apple is making the program more childish looking all the time, this whole thing of Drummers can be useful of course but is presented in such a dopey way that it feels unprofessional.

I don't know, I prefer this direction than before. It's clean & modern, If they could make the old bu in, plugins less realism, like the ancient Ultrabeat and some of the other plugins that are years old. They use less CPU. I guess we all have different tastes, But a do prefer the simpler graphic interface, and colours. It does seem more zippy and fast too. Though I have an update ready for Sierra 10.6.2 & iTunes, I've had major problems with each Sierra ( software, esp Logic) update I don't want to download until I use logic 10.3.2 for a week, or I know if it's safe, as I''m hearing others are having issues with Sierra updates, Though they say its beta, not sure mine is? I don't want to chance it just yet.

When are they going to do a decent makeover of the exs24
@JakeMasca7 жыл бұрын
I want two things from Apple for LPX; 1. Live Loops for live performance much like Abletons session view (I think mainstage should be integrated natively into logic pro x again.) 2. Update the older stock plugins. I dont mean that the stock plugins need a RE-DESIGN per se. But jesus christ, make them fucking retina friendly.

I like the modern way of looking way more than Cubase/Pro Tools!!! Cubase/Pro Tools looks like 8bit Dandy ))) and it kills my wish to open and create!!! So I think there is should be diferent Themes for Logic!
