Thanks. One of the best reviews on the Osmo Action 3: I bought mine recently and it exceeded every expectation. I was astounded at it's Rock Steady function which makes it almost glide like a steadicam or a drone. The lush, rich colours were another surprise. One of the best gadgets I own.

@@eliteshinobeyt7004 Hello. The battery life runs up to about 160 minutes which is very good. The 'photos are very detailed and beautifully coloured, just like the iPhone: it has lush, rich colours. For close-up photographs the iPhone is better because it can pick more intricate details at a close distance and can adjust focus. There is no focus adjustment on the Osmo Action 3. I hope that answers your questions well. I love the camera.

It takes beautiful, detailed and colour-rich 'photographs, like the iPhone. But for close-up photographs the iPhone is better at sharper with detail. The iPhone has focus control, the Osmo Action 3 doesn't. Overall an amazing camera.

At night, the best way to maximise light into the sensor is to turn off stabilisation, shoot in 24 or 25 FPS and manually set your shutter speed to 1/25 or its lowest setting. This isn’t going to work well if you’re performing an action. It’s really just for mounted shots or vlogging. Hope this helps 🤘🏽

You said you like do videos in 4K as you post in KZbin? Will it not make the FILE SIZE too BIG? Can you tell me, if you do 1 min video in 1080p and 4k what the file size is in both case. 1:40 what does the 5 attempts mean? When I bought mine, I was trying to connect with my Samsung Note 9 Mimo app, but it was unable to find the camera and connect it. Then. Downloaded the new Mimo app, from WiFi setting Stopped mobile data as instructed. Still not connecting. Found some solution from internet. So got one old Android phone Samsung S7 edge, downloaded the new Mimo app and it connected automatically. My cam was the 2023 version and came with updated Firmwire already. But I was Freaked out at first when I was unable to connect the phone and it's saying 4 attempts left? What does that mean. If someone unable to connect in 5 attempts, will it be useless?

Brilliant, Thank you mate. NB Question. A setting I cant find. On my action 1 I am able to set the camera to take a photo every 2 seconds. It works brilliantly on a selfie stick and gives you heep of photos to choose from. But no where in the Action 3 can I find this?? - Am I missing something ? Kindly help please

If you're editing on desktop shoot in 4K FOV: wide, if it's an action sequence, shoot in 100fps, if it's vlogging, shoot in 24 or 25fps, if you're not sure, choose 50fps - for mobile editing, drop your frame size to 1080 or 2.7K for faster workflow

I have tried setting my camera up, and I can't connect it to my phone and I am now locked out of the menu on camera as the camera for some reason, says you have so many attempts which I have used, and now I can't use the menu on the camera. Hello I'm really thinking about getting this, but have a question for you or anyone, is this difficult to activate, this is what it says on Amazon "When using your brand-new Osmo Action 3 for the first time, you have five chances to skip the activation process for product experience. Once the provided chances have been used up, you need to connect the camera to the DJI Mimo app for activation." I'm new to these cameras, do I need the app to use this camera? Thank you anyone.

Very nice job in starting us out however maybe you should just show us how to turn it on and take some basic pictures and film. All those settings tend to confuse older people like me lol. Btw the plant to your right I was looking closely at it. Has it ever bloomed? I believe it’s in the family what we call NIGHT BLOOMING CERUS. Yes only blooms at night, only last for one night. The most I’ve ever had in one night was 22 on three different plants. My dad started them somewhere around 45 years ago.

it's completely up to you mate, both cameras offer great features, if you want more options for photo modes i would go with GoPro however if you want 10-bit video (which is coming soon but not yet available) think the action 3

depends on your environment, if you're in a pool and the camera is getting hot than sure it's a problem, if you're in room temperature, than no, they do tend to heat up when using them for long periods of time
