Dude...your drift.... Also quin kills crabgrass of any age/size. Works much better if u use methylated seed oil as surfactant. You're thinking of dithoypir (Dimension)- which is much better at preventing crabgrass, then killing it.

10:45 mark. Fine mist is NOT the key. There are many products that require large droplets for proper application. Using a surfactant IS more of a key for results.

OK, here's one for you.. what would i do if A) the majority of my Lawn is Weeds/CG and, B) 2 side of my property butts up to a Field for Haying and 2 side butt up to a road. is it even worth trying to have a real Lawn when i seem to have Mole central on 2 sides thus, moles are constantly attacking my yard. Great Video, really enjoy how you can explain it so i get it and don't overwhelm me LOL.... Thanks for sharing

Love your videos!! Have a question though if you don't mind...It's currently September and I'm not sure what to do first. I have TONS of weeds in my lawn but also wanted to put down some fertilizer. I also want to put some seed down in bare areas. No idea what to do first. No nice weather until next weekend. Do you recommend fertilizing and seeding now then weed killer next weekend? Or is that pointless?

Right around the time I was 16 or 17 I had many encounters in retail settings with people who thought I worked at the place. I’m not sure exactly but it was happening like at least once a week. Maybe it was how I looked at products or something.

I just have to ask - do you have a spray license? Have you been trained on spray drift? Are you aware that spray drift can kill plants outside the targeted area? Are you aware that jeans, leather work boots and cotton long sleeve shirts can absorb spray drift? Are you aware that many[most] herbicides, fungicides and insecticides have been linked as carcinogens? Are you aware serious lung conditions can occur from repeated exposure to spray drift? Are you aware that safety glasses are intended for flying objects, not spray drift and a full face shield was invented for protection from spray drift? Are you aware that the law (were I live and probably you) makes the applicator (you) responsible for any damage caused from spray drift to neighboring properties? You might want to get a heads up on this.

I got the same bottle of Bayer all in one, but it was interesting that mine was a clear liquid, yours was like a dark purple sort of. Strange. I did 3 applications with it and it didn't work I wonder if this bottle i have is bad.

Can I spray in summer with average highs this week of 90? I could wait for the evening when the temp goes down to about 80 but would this still harm the lawn? I did an application a month ago but the ground ivy will not die. I'm worried if I wait for fall it will have taken over the yard.

PPE yeah right! JK. My pump sprayer broke and the pressure release valves was stuck. So my smart ass thought it would be a good idea to loosen up the hose while under pressure. I got one quarter turn and BOOM! Got shit all over my face and eyes. That was last week and my eyesight is still there so dodged a bullet. Dont do that kids.

I like your videos but you need to read your labels, your putting crabgrass post emergent down. You need pre emergents in the beginning. You'll us even less post controls. Your getting there keep up good work.

Jake, I just went and bought a 25kg bag of organic fert , and when I was about to fill the hopper , the bottom of the bag split and nearly the whole bag spilt onto the lawn ! I was force to scoop it up and then fetch the Dyson to vacuum up the last bits . I saw the neighbours looking out the window at one point . So in my attempt to dominate , the neighbour now think I'm just a nut !!!

My only concern is it appears that you are spraying too much weed control----I usually just do a quick 1 second spray on my weeds and that seems to work best. No surfactant?

Jake if the rims on the front of your riding mower wobble alot take them off and they're actually bearings or bushings and you have to pop them out they may be a little bit hard it took me a couple tries of the ball peen and the other one I had to use a sledgehammer because it was really stuck in there they cost about 20 bucks for 4 and make sure to grease them a lot but now mine is straight as can be there may still be a little bit of wobble on one or the other Because the actual may have gotten worn down if it doesn't wobble then it hasent

Jake is still a school kid (soon to be Jake the lawn guy) but he's already got his own lawn business , he's learning customer care, accounting , video editing and how to be responsible, he's making his own cash and learning that hard work brings rewards.
