I've laid down twice this year since March and recently in early June prodiamine. I've noticed it doesnt really affect broadleaf and clover, and some others. I guess I gotta just speed zone these break throughs? No crab grass so far.

I have a steel BR 800 X same thing just got the manual good old regular start and I have the echo PB 9010 echo 9010 is a lot better for dry leaves to where the BR 800 is good for wet leaves, but I think the echo has a lot more power

I have a seeded lawn with probably 4-5 varieties of turf in the St Louis area. I have decided that a durable fescue would suit my needs best. If I start aerating and seeding with the same seed each fall, will it eventually dominate my turf type without killing everything off and starting over? Thanks love your content
@JakeTheLawnKid2 күн бұрын
that depends. What is your current turf type?
@vbrownUSA2 күн бұрын
Mostly finer blade fescue and bluegrass but the inconsistency is part of the issue as well as bluegrass here isn’t as heat/drought/foot traffic tolerant

What’s the dilution ratio you’re running when you have to increase it to prevent staining? Will diluting iron solutions down with more carrier water volume stop staining from happening?

Is a systemic going to be a better option when dealing with a rhizonomus weed like Quack grass? Will glyphosate just kill the plant its sprayed on or will it spread through the rhizome and kill other plants near by as well? Would also love another video on controlling quack grass in turfgrass

The GreeneCharge needs to be watered in... The 7-0-0 is a foliar application right aka not watered in? For the Iron absorbing via the blades?

The green charge does not have to be watered in. Both are fine to sit on the blades

I've had the same issues with Irrigation guys, its been my experience that they won't even turn the unit on so you end up getting fried lawns because the unit was never turned back on after you were told it was fixed.

Try Glyphosate + Flumigard. That will give you 6months of clear beds. Just be careful not to overspray the grass. Flumigard is a cheaper version of Sureguard (which is tooo expensive). But it has the same active ingredient. 1oz of Glyphosate + 7g of Flumigard per 1000 sqft or Gallon. That will kill everything on the ground…no worries on the steams of the bushes.

🙋♂️… How do you pay Uncle Sam ‘IRS” in your business? Is it worth it starting your own business with expenses & taxes paid? Great videos enjoy watching them!
@JakeTheLawnKid4 күн бұрын
It all depends on how your company is structured. Mine is structured as an LLC which means I pay quarterly in some cases. As someone who's been doing this for a couple years, I can tell you starting your own business if you're willing to do so is worth it. Especially as an LLC, there are so many tax advantages you will learn throughout.

Most common reason is that people don’t know how to adjust their sprinkler controls, or don’t care to. I have a Bluetooth enabled controller, so I can turn off or adjust, even when away from home. Rain can pop up when not forecasted or you can get very little rain when a lot was in the forecast. Nice to have the ability to adjust your controller when not at home, or even when in your recliner.
