Hey Jake! DOUG suggested we come learn some of your techniques for sanding and polishing resin. I use the micro sanding pads on my small stuff like acrylic pens and bottle stoppers. One thing I learned when I used to do body and paint, while wet sanding a panel I’d use a few drops of dish soap in my sanding water. It breaks the surface tension and the water stays with the project and doesn’t dry out as fast. Give it a try and see what you think. Thanks for sharing!

I polished some resin necklaces not this way i should have though I did black, brown, diamond then wax they were very shiny but now after 2 months they have lost there shine the ebony is still a bit shiny the resin isn't really I'm just wondering if you might possibly know the reason?

I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’m not sure why yours have dulled. My pieces stay shiny but I don’t handle them much.. some people coat jewelry with a clear coat of epoxy, maybe that’s something to look into
