Interestingly... Al and Ubilk were enemies in Ex 5! I remember that you recently mentioned how you hadn't read yourself, so assuming that you didn't know, that's completely fair (It can be hard if you're not good at English, especially for the Arc 6 translations). Alongside Hornet, Ubilk was the main antagonist of Ex 5's second chapter, Sword Wolf of the Illuminating Flame (Also known as The Crimson Countess and the Gladiator). I think that it's far more likely for Al to be in Lupgana somehow because he's all suspicious as hell and Ubilk has practically facilitated this rebellion as the Stargazer. Their association in Ex 5 makes me feel sure of it. If anyone's going to come out of nowhere and save Otto's gang, it'll probably be Rowan, the drunkard from the bar in Guaral. His full name is Rowan Segmunt (Who is likely the father of *Cecilus* Segmunt, who was referenced during the Ginunhive chapters) and he was a wanted man per the soldiers at the checkpoints outside of Guaral in Chapter 34.

@@konoveldorada5990 Subaru probably didn't RBD at all. Chapter 75 was the turnaround moment of Arc 7 and Emilia has already been fine on her own so far. Al might be heading directly for them since he also wasn't at Gudda's bastion, so it's hard to pinpoint where he is. It's also possible for him to find Goz with Rem and then the two could storm the Crystal Palace together, though that's starting to get into unpredictable territory with these next 20 or so chapters. This one hasn't been confirmed, but the favorite chapter is almost universally believed to be the crossdressing one because he referenced how people thought that he had been planning it for eight years (When the initial question was asked), but admitted he had the idea from FF7. His claim was that he planned it for 24 years and he mentioned how his life as an author was achieved.

Hey, i was wondering if you could do a video about subaru seeing unseen hands. I know it's a little bit outdated but i noticed some inconsistencies in the explanations on reddit and stuff. I don't think Satella gave him the power to see them, because why would she be able to? She's the witch of envy and that in my opinion wouldn't make sense. And it's certainly not because he has more of the witch's miasma. If that was the case then Regulus could see them in emilias trial and it was shown, that he couldn't. I was rethinking a lot of stuff from arc 3 and this thing came to my mind and now it cannot leave me. If you have a good explanation for this i would be glad to hear it.

I believe when Pick killed petelguise and then lectured Subaru about the promises he broke! Subaru's body fell and froze like ice and he asked himself where is the laughing coming from "oh, it's coming from me" I believe Betelgeuse possessed Subaru then hence the laughter so for just a while he obtained the witch factor through possession, then the loop after is when he is able to see... I think basically from what I can recall of season one

It's supposed to be a simple explanation, but Subaru's visibility only came in the second loop he met Petelgeuse. It's strange. What's more is that the visibility is not supposed to do with the Sloth Factor, which is even weirder when Petelgeuse could have easily made Subaru into a Finger by sharing his Witch Factor to Subaru like he did in the other loops, but it seems to not have something to do with that? I'm not so sure that it has *nothing* do with the possibility of how Subaru may or may not have had Sloth inserted into him. Some sort of interaction with Sloth's removal after his death and RBD could have happened. Subaru also had a Shadow Garden scene with Satella after his first death to Puck towards the end of Volume 5, so it may have something to do with that.

Al seems far more likely to be an Apostle of Envy based on how Suabru's loveless RBD was similar to Al's Authority. Sphinx feels like she's the only viable candidate for the Pride Factor right now, though any possible Authority she could have remains unknown (She has miasma, though it's probably the miasma she received from Echidna during the soul transference process). I think that Sphinx is going to come in Arc 8, Subaru's going to get Pride then, and Al will only die in Arc 11. I can't see a world where Satella wouldn't give Al an Authority when he summoned him, and his memories from Sunlight on the Water (Side story) show that she loved him. Being physically connected to Satella via an Authority of Envy is the best way to explain Al's personal familiarity with her and the image he saw of her attempting to embrace him. Also, If Al manifested an Authority of Pride, he wouldn't have figured out how to activate its vague conditions before he died for the first time. It makes more sense for Satella to have initially activated it for him when she ultimately enhanced his Authority (Kind of like what she does with RBD's checkpoints) and Al to have learned the activation conditions from that. My opinion on this subject is really long, in-depth, and a bit drawn out, but I don't want this comment to go on for five years. The idea basically boils down to this: Both Al and Subaru can be Apostles of Envy since we know from Petelgeuse's Fingers that Witch Factors can be shared to multiple people, though Satella has the unique ability to let the Apostles whom she shares her Envy Factor with to manifest an Authority that can only be utilized to its maximum potential with her presence. Subaru would be connected with Satella while Al isn't connected with Satella, which is why his Authority is a gamble and he can't control what role he gets.

Abel's goals involved carelessly removing the third bastion by killing everyone there, and then the line of narration in Chapter 96 about how his own life or death is irrelevant in his plans makes it sort of seem like his role might have something to do with his death. Of course, Subaru's probably going to hit the brakes on his plan, but we know that he has some sort of destruction wish from Vincent ZERO (The best of the three shop specials for Ex 5, which can be read on WCT's website).

We actually know what they are, and it's not that. I don't know where she said it (Maybe in a side story), but according to Beatrice, dragons are kind of like clumps of mana. The true dragons, I mean. It's a bit different with the ground dragons and dragonkin (Lesser dragons), as they're not like mana clumps. Since true dragons are mana clumps, they're extremely strong; Divine Dragon Volcanica can even manipulate Od Laguna to a degree. Coincidentally, I've heard some theories that Emerada Lugunica wanted to become a real dragon herself... That makes me wonder if something similar to your thought will be important in the future.

No i don't think she's becomming a mary sue. Remember she couldn't hurt wrath so she was likely holding back. Then there's the fact she was fighting volcanica so she's likely gotten stronger from that and then there's the fact that she's freezing the atmosphere. That slowing both combatants down except for Emilia and she still almost lost. I think people just underestimated her.

I just thought using that much mana shouldve drained her (I guess thats just what the largest mana reservoir in rezero looks like, closing in on that mary sue level), I mean, freezing entire landscapes then creating solid Subaru sculptures, weapons, ice walls, on top of that, then turbo freezing Madeline while withstanding Mezoreia's attacks, surely she should be out of mana. @@parhelionhalo No she absoloutely will. Emilia's not the type of person to stand around doing nothing. If anything you could make the argument that her mana capacity is inconsistant. Also mary sue would imply she is incredibley strong without any trainning or explanation and she's just the bestest ever. Emilia isn't the strongest character in re zero and she's had plenty of trainning. It also makes sense that she can creat ice sculptures of Subaru because she likely has a much clearer image of what he looks like in her head. That's why she had to practice art so that she could start to create things out of ice.
