I'm here in 2024! I was there in the 80s too. Her duets with David Grant are 2 of my forever favourites. That time was a joyful time to be alive, great fun, great music, Alex O'Neal, Prince, Luther Van Dross (saw all three in concert). Pubs, Clubs and Nightspots around London really where the place to be throughout this time, and all anyone ever wanted was fun, fun. fun ... Unfortunately all I (hopefully you all out there = we) have, is memories as London, and life in the UK, is being completely destroyed before our very eyes by the Govt and all their muppets!.

@@jonbragg8613 So true Jon, if we didn't have phones we wouldn't have as much trouble as we do today landlines were the only things we needed back then but when the "brick" phones came out everyone was getting them! My husband had one and to me it was so ugly and having to carry it around like a handbag was funny but he loved it! For people in our generation we know how good times were....I just wish it could be like that today! All we can do is hold onto the memories. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
