it gets very annoying constantly re adjusting your rudder and drifting too quick past spots. ive found i can actually end up fishing less productively because I drift past spots too quickly. if you miss one on topwater then drift past it, then you gotta turn around with ya paddle and start again its a nightmare

But at the same time, you get to cast at places rarely cast at. Take a river with overgrown river edges and pooled water. Not many get into cast it. This is where kayaks/canoe come into their own@@pvegod1484

nice winter river sesh lads n crackin tucker time as well. literal just finished 10 days at copeton. finished up with 10 but cudnt crack the M. best we cud boat was a couple of 800+. in 2 weeks we r heading way up river for a week to a private property to do the winter river cod run, looking forward to that.

Sounds like there will be a cheap hobie on the market. Haha. Hard work fishing into the current i only do down stream drifts easier to control yak and easier work. If i go upstream, I generally troll then drift back down. So absolute slabs of fish and those camp ovens WOWEEE👌

If this was North America, its looks like a mixture of a Great Lakes Lake trout, Smallmouth Bass and even a saltwater Black Grouper from around the Florida Keys. Wild as shit. Never knew these existed. They seem to give up quick in cold water, I bet in the summer thy would break you off constantly.

they are a great fish to get the hit ,amazing top water hit they dont give much of a fight so the hit is the excitement ,l the fly rod is longer so cannot put as much pressure as the lure fellas
