A vice is a good thing to have. Don’t let it control your life, but being able to have something to de-stress, even if it … ahem… taking an interest in “gardening” . Everyone has bad days, everyone is also allowed to find a way to enjoy their own time . I was not going to do anything, but have tried in recent years. My brain is “eh, I can understand, not for me though”

It's less about the vice itself and more about the hold it has on someone. It's one thing to partake it's another to let it control you. I'm guilty with KZbin, chocolate, and buying books. My fix is to partake less. But, not remove. Agreed, even if you remove a vice, it will just be replaced with something else. In the case of a "camp fire," usually food or gum. Hence, why it's the advised, when quitting alcohol, not to enter into new physical relationships as the brain will compensate the lack of feeling good from alcohol. To feeling good with the dopamine release from physical intimacy.

We’re human and we tend to judge. It reflects our likes, dislikes and our prejudices. When I find myself “judging” someone or something I then ask myself where is this judgement coming from? Questioning one’s motives helps to keep one present in the moment and reveals aspects of our personalities that may be surprising.

One of many lessons I learned in my 67 yrs your Conduct, Standards, Values have a major factor in your outcome in life . What you do now will determine how you older yrs will be so glad I listen. Focused on school, saved and invested you have no idea if you don't save or invest how bad your older yrs will be for SS is a joke. I never got involved into the LGBT crap it didn't align with my Values or achieving my goals and I did. I have a partner of 24yrs who did the same living in the country is awesome Amish down the road from us . Your choices in life will be up to you for you will Reap what you Sow. Living in the fast line like so many will burn your money up as my grandfather use to say a Fool and his money will soon depart. He was right!
