Jalapeno Cornbread
2 cups self rising buttermilk cornmeal mix
1 large egg
1 1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4-1/2 cup diced jalapeños
1 cup shredded cheese
Slap ya mama seasoning
Preheat oven to 450 degrees, pour 2-3 tablespoons of oil in 9 inch cast iron skillet, heat until hot 7 or 8 minutes.
Mix all ingredients together batter should be smooth and pourable into skillet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
