Here is a tip for you. Wash your hands in baking soda after cutting jalepenos. It neutralizes the acid that feels like you pepper sprayed yourself if you touch your face.

I was wondering about that cast iron baking pan and just watching this 9/23, so I ordered one today! We lived in middle Iowa (1999-2000) my husband is from MO. Complaines about the heat here and lives the cold. While we were in Iowa he said one day, "man...I been cold before but never this cold!" haha and he'd move to Alaska if I agreed, nope! Haha I grew up in CO and prefer warmer climates! Thanks, for all you do and sharing it with us!!

I’ve been trying to watch all of your videos as I just found you 3 weeks ago. I love Jalapeño poppers! This looks delicious! The pretty colors of peppers would be pretty. I suppose if you can’t find jalapeños that are red, you could add a bit of a sweet red pepper, I think that would look nice and be delicious 💕
@jocarson5310 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for this recipe! When I make Jalapeño Poppers ( the kind that are cut in half )I add some brown sugar. The bit of sweetness really compliments the heat of the jalapeños. Next family get together I am making your recipe. It’s so much easier and I bet every bit as tasty!

Love the recipe! The poppers that I have eaten are hollowed out jalapeños with a cream cheese/cheddar blend inside and then with a crumb crust outside and deep fried, no bacon involved, but I think it's a good addition. Asiago cheese shouldn't taste like cheddar at all. It more resembles a cross between Parmesan and blue cheeses, it very sharp and tangy.

Too costly to heat a hothouse in winter!! It’s not unusual for us to have temps well below zero for weeks at a time.
