Alec Burks' production off the bench has been HUGE for the knicks.

He's always been that, what he's become is a knock down shooter and is probably 1 offseason away from being able to unlock the 'create off the dribble' phase of his game. As a fan, I'm proud of players like him.

Deuce is not your typical guard. He is so verstile. Most games his production isnt shown on the stat sheet. He has been so good.

@@Faro- yes he is.. we have a few guys who thrive at perimeter D. Donte fights over screens just about as good as I’ve seen anyone do it. Can’t wait til past this team.

Sure but what’s the in-game adjustment for guard screens ? Just play man and don’t switch ? He doesn’t have the personnel for it. And he can’t keep Halliburton on ball because he’s injured and his defense is trash.

@@handsomej120The real issue was Nesmiths foul trouble because he gets through screens set by bigs or anyone else.

Knicks been switching guard to guard with Donte also... it's not a new thing. Knicks are gonna run a screen that gets the switch they want. It's VERY easy for JB to expose Haliburton on defense (because he doesn't guard-- he only goes for steals), so the Knicks are always trying to screen to get that match up.

Give jalen brunson a 3rd string PG who can shoot, play defense and set good screens and the knicks look unstoppable.. full credit to Thibodeau for figuring that out

Tibbs greatest weakness as a coach was making adjustments.. But I always held out hope because his lack of adjustments weren’t due to incompetence but rather his stubbornness.. Now that he has eased up on his rigidity with regards to making adjustments, he is coaching out of his mind!

What The NBA world is forgetting that a true PG is a QB and if he have a good system, the coach can plug and play players. Will it always work? No, however, it can be effective, with a great PG and coach.
