They had a down year this year and only lost 3 games and beat the SEC champions. Yea they lost to Vandy and Oklahoma but only haters will remember that over everything else he did. Have whatever opinion you want but he’s a lot better than he gets credit for. I promise Georgia fans are throwing parties over not having to play bama in the playoffs.

You’ve said perfectly about how I myself feel about Jalen Milroe. I will forever be grateful to him for sticking it out and keeping this team together as best as he could when Saban retired. Not to mention what a stand up person he is. It’s almost impossible to not like and root for a guy like him. Couldn’t agree more about playoffs. I certainly didn’t expect them to win a natty this year but at least wanted to make the 12 team and make a bit of noise. Not only for the team but for him as well. Wish he could’ve gone out on a better note. Sadly didn’t work out that way but Milroe being the stand up person he is never made excuses, blamed anyone, and always took complete ownership after a loss. He’ll always be engraved in bama history for 4th and 31 and game winning TD to Hollywood against UGA. Hoping he has a long successful career going forward and I hope he knows there’s a lot of us who support him.

You know why they keep calling the same plays? Because they can only call the plays that Milroe “knows” and is comfortable with. The offensive play-calling was extremely limited because Milroe has a very low QB i.q. He is one hell of an athlete and deserves all the props for turning a failed play into gold, BUT when failed plays are your best asset QB1 is not the place you need to be. I would have loved to see him playing some wildcat, halfback passes, or other Auburn’esque nonsense. Maybe just put him in to run the only 5 plays he knows here and there. No way in hell should he have been behind the center for every single snap for all 4 quarters though.

I’ve been super angry at Milroe several times this season, as many have. HOWEVER, once I took the time to think about just how much this young man carried on his shoulders, I began to wonder how he was able to be as amazing as he was. First of all, the best coaching all of football history, who was also Milroe’s coach for years, unexpectedly retired. I’m just a fan and I grieved like I lost a close family member, imagine how the players felt. If that wasn’t enough of a gut punch, half of his teammates hit the portal when Saban retired. Milroe was the starting quarterback, therefore, he was the one who had to take the lead and keep those who stayed positive about the future and help get people to support the new coaching staff. Not to mention, hundreds of thousands of Alabama fans, who, like myself, have been spoiled with SO MUCH WINNING under Saban. We stopped appreciating championships a long time ago and began expecting them. With all that to worry about in football, Milroe was working on his Master’s Degree in the classroom. Talk about stressed beyond imagination. Milroe remained loyal to the team, and continued to be among the best quarterbacks in the league. Who wouldn’t have a bad game or two with all that on your shoulders? I have the upmost respect for Milroe. I truly appreciate how Milroe kept it pushing and led the team to a better season than any fan truly expected. Listen to his speech when he received the Doak Campbell award recently. You could definitely hear Saban’s influence in that speech, and also a young man who gave his all to the University he respects for giving him an opportunity to showcase his talent. Milroe was an amazing quarterback ~ his good games were unbelievably great and, during his not so stellar games, he was still better than most quarterbacks for other teams. Much rather have him playing for the Tide than against them, that’s for sure. Look forward to seeing him be extremely successful in whatever his next endeavor may be, and that success has been earned & well deserved. My upmost respect and appreciation to Milroe for all he gave the Tide and to all of us who are die hard Alabama fans.

@@elstonturner7008oh, and I just read that Seth McLaughlin won top center of the year at Ohio State. Hmmmm…. how’d he suck so bad at Alabama last year? Sounds to me like he was paid off. Milroe had to make up for too many of Seth’s mistakes last year, and the few times he was unable to overcome ~ like being tripped because of Seth in final game of playoffs, people STILL blame Milroe! But, Jalen has a heck of a lot more class than me because he’s never said a word about it. I would’ve been calling Seth out NONSTOP!! I’m even more irate now

@PSU, @Iowa, @Wash, USC is not a bad schedule. @Iowa is usually a very tough game. Much different getting Iowa at their house vs away. Unfortunately, Okla St is usually a pretty good team, but they collapsed last year. Jalen Milroe should go to the NFL, he's the #4-#6 rated QB in the draft. Some see Anthony Richardson.

The best thing for milroe is going to the NFL. He will be returning back to a subpar offensive line. He will subject himself to injuries running the ball. He will go 1st round to a team looking for a dual threat quarterback.

If Saint Nick was there, Tide would never be one dimensional. Milroe's best option may be to go to another school just like Jalen Hurts did. Hurts became a better quarterback for leaving to Oklahoma.

Id be lying if i said Jalen milore was going to be a star at Alabama I knew from the jump at Katy high it wasn’t a good fit for both the parties involved.
