The science behind Jallikattu is the bull which can't be controlled or holded by any player is the Winner 🏆...The winner Bull is used for breeding, the reason for this is, Only brave and powerful bulls can't be controlled or holded by anyone....So the winner Bull is physically and mentally very strong bulls when strong bulls like this is used for breeding then genetically the calf of the bulls will also be very strong mentally and physically...Strong bulls giving birth to strong bulls will help farmer to carry loads in bullock cart as well as to plough the farm lands... Jallikattu is Breeding science...Everyone will grow bulls to bring it to jallikattu...In jallikattu the player has to hold the hump of the bull more 10 seconds or need to travel holding the bulls hump for few meters will be announced as winner... The uncontrollable bull is announced as winner and its owner also will be rewarded ... jallikattu also prevents the destroyal of our ethnic breed of Indian cows, since many people in TN grow bulls for this purpose itself...After invention of tractors lots of bulls have been sent to slaughter house, A sport like jallikattu prevents the bulls being killed

Jallikattu, bull embracing, is actually a sporting event done during the festival of Pongal in mid of January. This particular event held in Madurai, one of the oldest settlement in India. This has been constituted into a festival for annual event because it actually is a breeding science given to us by our ancestors. Basically, the men should gather near the gate ( vaadivaasal ). The bull will be on the other side from which the bull will not have any vantage point of how many people standing there. When the bull enters the arena, it needs to react so fast to not accept or submit to the men who all will be ready to jump and grab the hump. If the bull submits and a man travels at least fifty meters on it, then it is not useful for the next generation breeding. However, if the bull does not submit and has the animal sense of protecting itself, then it is declared as winner and the surrounding villages will use this bull for breeding. Thus, the raw nature of the bull is sustained and the offspring will be as strong and reflexive as its predecessor. This way, every year it has been conducted and thus become a festival.

Every farmer/Herder who own a bull knows the pain of maintaining a bull, it takes a minimum of 100 rupees day to maintain them in perfect condition and I am telugu guy living in chennai and can say for a fact that jallikatu as a tradition is followed even in my village back home in Andhra. Yes it seems a bit too violent for the first time, but remember every elephant, every dog, every camel goes through tonnes of bad experiences like this because they are made to carry weight to carry you or me, heck they are not even fed properly in North india, they call us regressive for this kind of behaviour, but .......... I want to ask them, who is the one which is most hurt the guy or the bull, yes bull also feels pain when holding on to its hump but the relentlessness with which it persues it's goal of getting out of the field is what proves to its worthiness and testosterone levels. I am sorry for saying this most women don't prefer feminine men, atleast in india, yes some do but most don't, and also likewise most owners also don't prefer bulls with less courage doesn't mean that they don't love them but they won't prefer it. And besides it happens only 1 a year during pongal, and there are para medics who need to be present who need to report and check every bull in this arena before and after, so to check it has not been given booze or poisoned.
