Hi Erhalder, great performance! is the tr8 effected by the external overdrive, right? I had the tr8 and it didn't sound so warm/saturated by itself. What is your signal chain? what kind of overdrive? thank you, Bye. F.

only the left mix channel goes to a Kokko FOD3 Overdrive. only hh/cymbal/snare/clap are going there (panned left on the tr8). the kick and toms are going straight to the mixer. keep in mind i record through a mixer, and might have overdriven the inputs slightly on the mixer before going to the audio interface. so the recorded audio is bit dirty already.
