Jiri fights too exposed, hands down and the type that’s willing to take damage to deal (try to) more damage. Unfortunately that game plan doesn’t work against the heaviest hitter in the sport that can sleep you in 1 hit. I hope Jiri gets some coaching and evolves his style. That said, I think without Poatan in that division, Jiri owns it. But Poatan just on another level good. Excited to see what happens if Alex moves to HW. Just rewatched the fight. The groin shot confusion didn't give Alex an advantage, no distance was closed, and Hill was back in his fighting stance when the knockdown happened. They even touched gloves to signal "my bad, fight's back on."

I really hate that Jamahal got himself into this. He's a fantastic fighter and he used to come across as a very cool guy but he can't stop fighting with the fans for the silliest reasons these days. Someone should take his phone away so he can focus and come back stronger. It's true people overlooked him before the Poatan fight but he shouldn't pay attention to what fans - mostly casual fans - say. Poatan is just on a huge run now and he's getting all the attention.
