Yes it is a majority Black island. I think you know the answer to the second question already, COLONIZATION. This is another example of disgusting oppressors grinding Black people to dust.

Jamaica is a black country; however, like any society, there is a ruling class with money and influence. For example, look at your family. Some have, and some don't. It's reality. In a government, the wealthy and elite are not good at sharing. We vote for politicians in this group thinking they will distribute resources and adopt policies to help everyone, but that's not reality.

@@Claribelle401 A majority Black island but colonizers control all the wealth. You said this was with any society, I beg to differ. Funny thing is; the reverse doesn’t exist. There’s no place where the majority is non-black, but all the wealth is controlled by a few Black families.

@delvafreeman9859 The reality is black Jamaicans makes up the majority on the island and yet you don't even control your economy. The one who control the economy of a country, controls everything in it including its politics and people Can you see this is a form of neo colonialism?

@@alexskatit4188They not as dumb as we are, they understand Nation Building, Group Economics and don't allow foreigners 'to run' their country economically for their own generational wealth. If there are 3/4 generations of Chinese in Jamaica, their origins are still CHINA. The rich white folks in this clip are European. Based on their origins, some of their forefathers owned plantations. They keep the wealth in their family ensuring that the European face will always be forefront in Jamaican economy!

And we say there's no racism. Jamaicans are delusional, none of these Companies have any generational legacy or anything in thier will and trust other than their family interests......take a look thats why we need to rise up and realize, we must not sell our lands and learn businesses and develop them. This was as a result of " Colonization " no hate, but its time black Jamaicans rise up equally.

I do not think Wayne Chen is owner of Super Clubs But he is a younger brother of billionaire Michael Lee Chin I would think Michael Lee Chin, the Butch Stewart family and the Matalons and Issas are the wealthiest though I think Mr Lee Chin is a Canadian citizen of Jamaican heritage

The thing with the Stewarts, Matalons and Issas is that the main head of who started the companies they built is dead and now their offspring runs the companies hence individually their wealth is diluted, as a family they're the richest but individually Wayne Chen, Michael Lee Chin and others are probably more rich.
