King Spotlight remember he discovered jamaica in his second trip. He was crazy with the Hispaniola( Haiti and the Dominican Republic). The Hispaniola has natural ports and a lot of mountains that at that time was full of gold.

The only way Hispaniola would have gotten Christopher Columbus attention is if there was a storm or a mudslide in Hispaniola. , that island is famous for those two things.

You can't make an omelette without smashing a few eggs; but i agree with where your coming from, the Chinese or anyone for that matter, won't feel the same about Jamaica as the people who live there. I just hope the people rise up and dont allow the crooked politicians to sell out their children's inheritance!
