I too am in the process of wanting to move to Jamaica.. I am actually coming November 17th. Jamaica is absolutely the most beautiful country that I've ever been to. The food the culture the people people it has always been my favorite place and always my goal to wind up there. Nothing has ever topped Jamaica.. I vacation there twice a year and when I leave I find myself depressed for weeks I cry like a big giant baby for the 1st couple of days after I leave. My heart belongs in Jamaica. I appreciate everything that the country offers. I want to live off of the land. I have made some really good friends over the last several years. The people in Jamaica are absolutely the most wonderful humans.

I'm a Jamaican, currently living in Canada. I love everything about Jamaica except for the fact that it always seems like those who dare to take a chance to better themselves often suffer by putting a target on their backs. As soon as you get noticed for doing well and succeeding, jealous people will try to take away what you have worked so hard for. The VAST majority of Jamaican people are honest, good folk, but the few who are bad minded can be monsters.

I’m so overwhelmed by your vlog many people do not appreciate what they have until they lost it like some people migrate to other countries and speak negatively about the land of their birth, but your love for my country makes me want to return ASAP because everything you say is absolutely true I do not like the winter for all the reasons you said, as for crime it’s every where but I’m happy you as a foreigner speaks so proudly of my country that makes me even prouder to be a Jamaican.

This is wonderful. I have family all over the island and my visits are never really "touristy" - but this is why I love it and consider it home away from home. My family is Jamaican, and one of my favorite things about Jamaica, is the people. One Love.

Y’all are super lucky. Fresh food. Clear beaches. Nice weather Ppl in America will stare u in the face Ans don’t speak. Lol. Not Jamaicans. They are friendly as hell. And keeps it real. Americans. Will smile in ur face. Talk behind ur back. I can’t stand that. I’m tryna move down there myself. But I have children and I have to figure out school and things like that

This is a fantastic video..... I am jamaican born, but have lived in the UK for the past 20years. I want to move back to jamaica, but family and friends keeps bombarding me with negatives about JA and how it's not safe etc....... I am still planning to move back and this video was awesome. You mentioned children, could you shed some light on the process of getting the children in school and what you have to consider?
