As a Trinidadian I gave my Jamaican friend fried bake and saltfish and he said in Jamaica it is called fried dumplings, so I came to check out if its the same and it is. Ours are usually bigger but it's nice to see that we have similar stuff in our culture

Gloves are so irrelevant. Wash your hands and knead. Also that lplastic and latex gloves residue is all up in the food, which over time can cause medical issues like cancer. Avoid plastic and latex!

You can use a spoon to mix the flour and also but a little oil on your hand when you put sugar it's very tricky it burn fast but it's all a flavor profile so you have to cook on low heat blessings chef Riccardo ♥️♥️⭐⭐👍👍👍

Just a word of encouragement: Remember that Jesus loves you and He's coming soon. If you have not made a decision to follow Him, don't wait because tomorrow is promised to no one. Satan wants us to believe we have all the time in the world, when we actually don't. Even he knows his time is short (Revelation 12:12) Lastly, the National Sunday Law is about to be enforced upon us. It involves the Mark of the Beast. The Beast is a religious & political system, which includes the Pope and his followers. Their sign of authority or seal is Sunday observance because they claim to have authority over the Bible and they admit that Sunday worship is their mark of great power. (Revelation 13:6) (see Catholic Record, Sept.1, 1923). They will seek to enforce worship on all. (See Revelation 13). IT is their plan to force all to come together, and to worship on the 1st day of the week (Sunday) and have that as the ONLY DAY of worship. They want everyone to forsake God's law which includes keeping the Sabbath, and accept man's tradition. When it is *enforced*, and people accept Sunday worship INSTEAD of accepting the Seventh Day Sabbath (Saturday) as the Lord's Day and only true day of worship, they will receive the mark of the Beast. The system seeks to promote false worship. So because Sunday sacredness is their mark of power; God's seal is found only one place, and it's in His 10 commandments, specifically the 4th (see Exodus 20:8-11; Revelation 14:7; Revelation 7:1-4) Why: It tells us the Name, the Title and Territory. Name: Lord thy God Title: Creator Territory: Heaven and Earth. So only those who truly love God will keep all His commandments and will be sealed for Him, for eternity. (See Revelation 12:17) So, it's our duty to keep God's ten commandments, including the 4th which talks about the Sabbath because in the end, we have to chose 1 side. Those who receive God's seal will be saved and those who receive the mark of the Beast will be destroyed eternally. It has always been about worship. Now is the time to be serious about our soul, and not to believe in false doctrine, but to accept God's truth from the Bible (see Isaiah 8:19,20). By God's grace, let us be ready for the time that is just before us.

I can understand your frustration when you are listening to someone from the islands and talking about a recipe and it'll give you the proper viewing is so I'm going to help you to make delicious fry fluffy dumpling from 🇯🇲 Now you have a choice you can either use all purpose flour or self-rising the one you used to have rice and you don't need to add baking powder so let's go with the ingredients you 5 cups of all-purpose flour one teaspoon of baking powder a half a teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of sugar for cane sugar one third of Crisco vegetable shortening a cup of whole milk In a large bowl put together the baking powder the salt as if it then mix it again with a whisk now add the butter the show 14 so that is crumpled up like bread crumbs the next step is to add the milk slowly and keep mixing to it's all in there and you have a soft dough you keep mixing and and needed do not overdo it until the door comes together and I saw things. Get a container with a cover antigen overnight in the fridge for 24 hours now get a nice medium size d pan a a cooking thermometer Testo oil make sure A Reason up to 290 and before this take out the dumpling and Co solve and stretchable is his shape it into a Long bucket then take it and cut it into pieces take each piece and put some flower in your hand and fold it and fold it until it comes into a ship and working hard and do that to all the rest of it this time you should check the temperature of the oil make sure it don't go over 300 if it does just add some more call vegetable oil and then I should drop the temperature now you're drop 5 dumplings in Deer use a tongue and wait for it to turn lightly brown make sure you don't let it sit just flip it over to the other side and brown on the outside and then you see the results and maybe 7 to 6 minutes and you don't want to make it too dark after making mostly Brown and you see how the dumping gets doubled the size not this time you should have paper towel and a rock put the dumpling On Top of the Rock so it will keep cool and the oil drain from the dropping onto the paper towel and keep on doing that and that you have delicious fried Jamaican dumplings with all the ingredients and imagine rent and let me know I'm peace out to everyone who wants to try this and all the best

Stay safe!

Tecia Miranda no talc on his gloves you would've seen the white powder, they usually put that on latex gloves those look like plastic. And when you buy them now they sell talc free plastic gloves.
