No it isn't. Everyone has there own recipe, this is not a pudding like fruit cake, it has a more moist banana bread texture ❤

1 3/4 cup good quality butter 1/4 cup vegetable oil 8 whole eggs, room temperature 3 cups puree rum soaked fruits 5 cups all-purpose flour 3 cups brown sugar 4 tsp. Baking soda 2 tsp. Mixed spices 2 tsp. Salt 4 tsp. Vanilla Juice & zest from 4 small lime 8 tsp. Browning Extra rum and wine for basting cake when done, preferably Appleton/over proof rum and red label wine
