Tours can also be offered to returnees who live here. I have friend who is a member of a group that take locals on excursions every month. It's called dry land tourist. Another service that is needed is ambulance services. Some areas don't have any ambulance service. A person with nursing or emergency transportation service experience could also provide this service.

That sounds fabulous! It's important that we are enjoying our country and discovering new places. 🎉 There are private ambulance services and some with private hospitals. We mentioned the need for an ambulance service in one of our videos from the summer. It would be great if there was one done as a non-profit service funded by a combination of Jamaicans at home and Jamaicans in the diaspora. It would make a significant difference to the emergency care on the island. ✊🏾🤴🏾

Statistics shows that 28% percent of Jamaicans are Repats. There is also a large population of more than 30,000 Expats living in Jamaica, These are official statistics. Nevertheless, it is fair to say that it could be more because not every Repats apply for returning resident waivers and some Expats have attained residency and might not be included in the statistics. There are also Jamaicans in the local who will pay if it meets their needs. 💎🧐

Many people are willing to pay a certain price point to get the services they need, especially people who want to be productive with their time. Of course they need it to be economical and therefore it is up to the business curator to show people the value it is to them for the fees they are charging, without being exorbitant. 💎💯🤔
