@@razberries8964 I think they taste their own last. The way the video is edited is not the same order each one of them tasted the dishes in. Daniel doesn’t speak for all of Jamaica. Rasta pasta is Jamaican Italian fusion stemming from Italian Jamaicans and is available all over the island. Might not be sold in the everyday lunch cook shop but is available in most proper sit down restaurant and what they cooked in the video is nothing like Rasta pasta in Jamaica. For one, it should NOT have any form of meat in it.

The ironic thing about this is that the one who seemed like he was actually from Jamaica was at a disadvantage because Rasta Pasta wasn't Jamaican so he had to interpret it how he thought Rastas would cook it. You also can't really compare ital food to non-ital food. The taste is gonna be different. The girls were obviously expecting the Pasta to be cooked with certain ingredients which Daniel obviously didn't think he had to use.

It’s very popular in the US, I’d say about half or more of all Jamaican restaurants have it on the menu and Jamaican restaurants are almost exclusively run by real Jamaicans ( often1 st or 2nd generation) so many Americans will probably assume that it’s authentic since the guys serving it have Jamaican accent. I have a guess that it came about to use up the leftover jerk chicken from previous day. Also Americans love pasta dishes.

Um...Kamari literally gave herself a 0 for smell, 5 for texture and a 3.5 rating for taste. How is that her being "not biased" toward her own food? Now Marshay did the most by adding chicken to her pasta so she would know which one was hers, for sure. Then gave herself 5's across the board. That's not right, people need to just be fair.
@MsRose00
