1:10 If I remember correctly, the first time this song was used was when Lagertha left Ragnar at the end of the the first episode of Season 2. Not only do I think that was one of the best scenes of the series, but also I personally found it to be the best episode as well. Another great instance of its usage was when Ragnar had his vision of his old home and the old times when going down that river, not long before he died. That epiphany of the past showed that he of course missed, sacrificed, and ruined his old life in favour of the ambition that led him to where he was at that time -- upset, bloodied, and fragmented from those he loved. Great scene.

I have never been so interested, excited, horrified , sad and happy watching any TV programme! 'Vikings' was awesome - all the characters well cast - music superb . Now I feel compelled to study the Vikings and am doing so...also in love with Wardruna and Eric.....! and yes, Hail King Ragnar...brilliant 👌
