Hey Jamerrill I saw you digging through your freezer and just thought I would pass along a handy hack. I always keep a small pair of dollar store gloves next to my freezer so if I have to dig or rearrange anything I don’t freeze my hands. 😊

Here's a shortcut. Put extra trash bags under the one in the trash can. Then when someone empties it, there's a new one right underneath it! It always amazes me how you keep everyone fed and keep everything stocked so well. You are amazing!

Roast the beef bones in the oven with vegetable scraps for a couple hours- 450 degrees, to extract a LOT more flavor for your beef stock/bone broth. Then cook as you will; stovetop or instant pot. I would even jar up the broth and get it in your canner so your broth will be shelf stable and not take up precious freezer space.

Keep onion feelings and carrot peelings and put them in the freezer in a zip top bag and just keep adding to it, then when you make your bone broth add it all in with the bones it adds flavour. 🌷

I add also celery ends & garlic peels (just not too many). Just wash off dirt from any roots you add. So much flavor!

You are incredible for donating your breastmilk. I have struggled with breastfeeding with both of my children. I have a low supply and IGT and medical reasons why I physically cannot produce enough breast milk for my children no matter what I do. Giving your milk to a baby who needs it is an incredible blessing. ♥️

I use vinegar also. It really cleans well, especially grease on the stove. Miracles in microwave. I spray it and leave it in for about 5 minutes, and wipe it clean

I just wanted to say you are a good woman Jammerill, this is evidenced by your love for others! There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all! Proverbs 31:29. I know you don't know me, and neither does Mary and Peter but y'all literally feel like friends and or family to me. This act of kindness really has touched me. When my son (whose now 38) was 2 months old I was gave him only one abottle of formula and it turned out he was highly allergic to all formulas. I was at my wits end and my supply of breast milk dwindled to only enough for a bedtime feeding. Donated breast milk literally saved the day! This is why your kindness meant so much to me. It's so sweet to see women helping women!! So thank you!!! And my the Lord bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you and give you peace. Thank you again, Pam

We just got the cut sheet on the half a cow I bought. There are 3 of us, so not as many around. We just don't eat much hamburger. We went for the flank and chuck. It was $5.45 a lb, and I can get ground beef cheaper if we want it. I like being able to choose the cuts to fit the family when we do this.

Great video. We have multiple freezers as well broken into 'food groups'. Helpful hit, I keep a pair of winter gloves next to my freezers for when I am organizing and rearranging. Have a great day!

Tip: Cook Soups or cook bone broth with carrots, onions, celery, fresh parsely overnight using 2 or 3 crockpots. In the morning, Cool the broth & put broth in containers to Freeze. Soups and broths cook while you sleep.

I saw a lady that had, heavy duty fabric/shopping type bags with short handles in her freezers. They worked great, squished up nicely, stretched out where needed, were kind to her hands and stored flat when not needed. Think it may have been Becky over on acre farm.

You definitely need a Food Saver for vacuum seal your frozen items. Stops freezer burns and easier to store too.

Love seeing the updates! I'm so excited to see more of the kitchen progress! While you were digging the breast milk out of the freezer I was thinking that maybe a pair of those really thick gripper (heat resistant) gloves (like the OveGlove), would be great to keep around your freezer area for times that one has to dig through them. I have a pair that I got a Lowe's in the BBQ seasonings/grilling tools, etc., area.

I thought of you while we went on a little thrifting trip to H-burg on the way back from my doctor's appointment. We went to the book fair, 2 Goodwills (and I didn't realize Sharp Shopper was right there, we didn't have time to pop in since we have one where I live), and another nice thrift store. Got some nice stuff at the Goodwills, love that their kids books are 10 for a $1, scored my kid a little pile to go along with 2 small boxes of things from the book fair. I will have to stop by when driving through again!

My business brought my husband home in 2012, several years before I started messing around on KZbin. He came home full-time to help me live this life, with our children and daily needs etc., versus hiring a mothers helper when I found myself working more than full-time from home. And for the last four or five years, I’ve had another mom come deep clean my house every Wednesday for about three or four hours. We do chores and jobs every day, but she very much blesses me doing a deep dive cleaning that I’m not able to do while also running a business, homeschooling the kids, and all the things in life that are swirling. I’ve also built a team of people who work for me in my business behind the scenes. They don’t work directly with the video aspects that you see here, but they work behind the scenes with the popular blog, product development, email marketing, editing, and much more. Lots of teamwork going on. ❤️❤️❤️

Next time you make beans and cornbread take a big serving sized bowl of cooked beans out mash them good put back in pot let bubble a little while will give good gravy to dip cornbread.
