I think it may be because the British ethos is not all about winning at any cost [as in the U!!S!!A!!🙄], but in losing with style with a smile. Good call on saving all your tokens, now all the cards have increased in difficulty. he's somewhere else, probably doing interesting comedy. no shade on cats does countdown, but clearly the whole point was to do a form of safe, comfortable and reliable panto. this absolutely has a place..... as evidenced by the longevity of the series. there's nothing inherently wrong about leaving the envelope exactly where it is. but these youtube compilations are a further abstraction. i don't know if the word Acaster was selected by an algorithm or an intern, but this may be a distinction without a difference
