Something interesting to note: When Lee shows Joe the box, it's a bit of a giveaway. Lee doesn't open the box fully and because of the way it's angled Joe can't actually see the bottom of the box entirely. If the carrot wasn't in Lee's box, Joe might have stood up to try and get better look at the inside of Lee's box. The only reason Joe would be satisfied with the little bit of the inside he did see is if he saw the top of the carrot in there.

I worked at our local police station here in country Victoria Australia, for many years. We have an infamous carrot story! I went to get my lunch out of the kitchen fridge and there was a carrot in a clear evidence bag, tagged by our CIB, sitting on a shelf. Now, the prequel to this is a woman claimed that she was SA in the public toilets at our Botanic gardens. She was taken up to the hospital where a carrot was removed. Yes folks, this is the carrot that was in our freaking food fridge!! Everyone cracked it, seeing this carrot in our fridge but it was left there as we had no other fridge. Turns out that the whole being attacked and SA in the toilets was false. She had been pleasuring herself with said carrot, it broke, she couldn’t get it out and made this entire false police report as she was too embarrassed to go to a Dr to have it removed. She was charged with making a False Report and the carrot, all shrivelled up, stayed in our fridge, however placed in a brown evidence bag do that we did not have to see it, until her court case was over. We still make carrot jokes in our family 30 years later 🤣🤣🤣
