saw hecklers welcome last week and it’s amazing how james has tightened up this material over the past year and made it even better just through small tweaks. can’t wait to see the ‘final form’ when he tapes the show!

I've watched all 4 "episodes" of his Netflix stand-up special at least a dozen times, and who knows how many times I've watched his season of Taskmaster and his WILTY clips. The man's a genius (and so is the boy)!

I always click on a James Acaster video - and he never disappoints. I liked his material early on, but he's gotten so much better over the years (which is saying something)... :)

He's not only funny, he knows how to use his voice, he's very charismatic and has great stage presence. The full package to be a comedian. Hope he gets better emotionally and keeps at this because it's a delight to watch him.

I could be wrong but I think the audience were a bit quiet at the start because so few of them knew what a spinning wheel was. There was quite a big laugh at 1:45 when he mentioned "Spinning wool" and the penny dropped for a lot of the audience.
@dreday33032 ай бұрын
You are probably right as I was thinking, what type of spinning wheel is he talking about. But this comedian sometimes likes the awkwardness.
@KnotsEdgeАй бұрын
Yeah, I immediately Googled it. It's like when he talked about lollipop men
@SquidandCatAdventuresАй бұрын
I wasn't sure what he said first couple of times - combo of him saying it fast and no on talking about spinning wheels these days. Maybe a good portion of the audience was French Canadian and it's a phrase that doesn't come up often so you might be right for some. Loved the story.

James Acaster is brilliant and operates on a million different levels at all times. His brain is my brain too. Whenever we go out, the people always shout, “I don’t understand this, what is this, is this supposed to be comedy? Jingle. Heimer. Schmidt. la la La La La la La la.”
