@heymanniceshot1 Try Volcanic Underground. It's an underground record store in Glasgow that delivers as well. Can't promise anything but it might be worth a look.

it's a matter of starting really simple, play any chord and use the thumb on base strings, and gradually pick out a melody

Guild GAD G212. Great guitar. All I did was put Tusq pins on it and had a traditional Guild pickguard put on it. Too much background noise.

@plectrum63 Why does the ability to make touching music and seeming "virtuosity" have to walk hand in hand? Can't you just take it for what it is - music. Some sounds good and touches you, some doesn't. Not everyone wants to hear some guy show you how much he practices his instrument :-) Also, as a musician, you should already know that drones and repetition serve a very important role and purpose in music, when used in the right context. 1 note can speak louder than 100, space, timbre etc etc

+Keith Green No problem. Looking forward to the video of you covering it. ;) Show that 12 string a lot of love and attention. A guitar should be played every day so it doesn't get lonely.

If you like James you may like my stuff -- I'm not nearly as virtuosic as James but I sing over the top of what I do and it is more of an American style. I bet you'll dig it. Click my profile for a listen.
