It's been over like 10 years since he wrote the song. If he still feels pain from the lyrics he needs psychological help. That's like having a family member die 10 years ago and every time you think about them you burst in to tears. As time moves on you learn to deal with the pain and if you don't then you are not all there mentally. I have an amazing therapist I can refer this guy to if he needs help.

I believe that James saw a woman, on a train, that was everything he had ever hoped for. I believe that he felt a deep spiritual connection with her. It wasn’t just about her physical beauty. Her very existence rattled him to his core. But, to have her smile at him, too...I mean, I know exactly what it is like to feel that deeply about a person for all of those reasons combined. The multiple strong emotions coming through James’ facial expressions are an incredible work of art in and of themselves. I began writing a short article about it and will probably write a song about it, too. He seems to get worked up about the reality that, no matter how shaken one can get over someone we find almost heavenly or perfect for us, most of us will never be with our respective “that person”. It is a lot to take on emotionally, if you open up your heart to this reality. I mean, one can be blown away by a car model and, through hard work, eventually just go buy one because many exist. But, that is not the case with a human being. There is only one of them. And, if you don’t have that person that you think is the perfect compliment to you, the thought of not having them forever can be overwhelming - Hence the upwelling of multiple deep emotions whenever he sings this song. I have a feeling he doesn’t even like to admit all of what he experiences at the thought of her. And, it seems that singing that song allows him to tap into the same exact set of emotions he felt when he first wrote the song. They are clearly held deeply in his heart.
