Being a dog lover, Corinne Dufour's death will always haunt me. The reason being that an animal known as man's best friend can attack and kill a person if given the orders. Not to mention that even if she did try to drive away on the cart, the dogs would still be fast enough to get her. Lastly, the music is quite beautiful yet suspenseful at the same time.

Years ago I read a book that analyzed every Bond movie up until that time; I think it was Octopussy. In that book, the author marked Bond's friends/allies who got killed in the line of duty as "the inevitable victim". Inevitable, because they are an integral part of the movie, allowing Bond to show some emotion, make him - as the hero - also get his non-physical scars and indeed give him something to further pursue the bad guys with an added vengeance.
