i bought this before Christmas it's a huge book will take ages to read but it looks very well written can't wait to start reading it

+col06 Yes I agree, it took me a few hours to just carefully read through one chapter. It's garanteed to keep you occupied for several evenings!

By the way, the older one is not printed anymore. There are probably some 300 out there, newly wrapped, of the total of 12.500 printed ones. I think Paul Duncan himself said that he's probably not going to make a new version when the 25th Bond film comes out. So you could see this 2nd smaller edition as an extension of the 50th anniversary jubilee.

It's called a 'call sheet' :-P. They still use these A4 papers for cast & crew. I have to be at work at 9:00 AM. Well, actors and crew suffer perhaps more from timetables. Everyday a new call sheet! Think about it hehe.

@@DutchBondFan 10:39 well the latest version is the blue cover 2021 going up to and including NTTD - No Time To Die (648 pages) The very first expensive "Gold" version came with an original 20 cm film reel (actual film strip with color images from the movie).

You probably know this already, in 1957 the Daily Express made a comic strip of James Bond, the artist John McClusky drew James Bond which had a striking resemblance to Sean Connery, 5 years before he got the part. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bond_(comic_strip)
@DutchBondFan8 жыл бұрын
+Bluemax1945 Yes I did know that! I actually own the first omnibus volume, which has a lot of his comics combined.

Does the archive mention the 1954 Casino Royale Climax tv episode?
@DutchBondFan8 жыл бұрын
+Don Jones I'm pretty sure there is a mention or two, but it doesn't have a detailed chapter like all the other Bond films got.

A liitle piece of trivia, Thunderbirds puppet Scott Tracy was modeled on Sean Connery s436.photobucket.com/user/ianstewart/media/ScottTracySeanConnery.jpg.html
@DutchBondFan8 жыл бұрын
+Bluemax1945 Yes I did know that, and a little personal trivia here: I'm a MASSIVE Thunderbirds fan (I grew up with the show) and Scott Tracy was my favorite Tracy brother! :)
@Bluemax19458 жыл бұрын
+DutchBondFan Scott Tracy voiced by Canadian actor Shane Rimmer who played Tom in Diamonds are For Ever, a radar operator in You Only Live Twice and was also in The Spy Who Love Me. I love bits of trivia !! jamesbondautographs.blogspot.co.uk/2008/01/shane-rimmer.html

Yes and I'm absolutely positive he also voiced that guy in Live and Let Die saying: "Who's funeral is it?" (Even though he's not credited or mentioned for doing so, but i'm positive it's him!)

Have you thought what you're going to do when you go over all the bonds
@DutchBondFan8 жыл бұрын
+Alex Jay Top 10 videos, cover the novels, do videos like these, discuss various other Bond topics, Bond games etc etc. I think I can think of enough content for years to come! :)

+DutchBondFan cool do you think you will play the games on the channel or not
@DutchBondFan8 жыл бұрын
I might, i'm defenitely not excluding the possibility. (It's just that I've done a good 8 years of gaming on this channel, I feel kind of releaved to focus on the other Bond sides first)

+kristian Durham He's doing good. I've been chatting with him again recently. He's been doing volunteer work in Borneo for a couple of months. And looks like he'll be doing more work in Portugal this year. He misses KZbin but since he'll be away a lot, he doesn't want to come back untill he has to proper time to really contribute, as he put it himself.

Great vid ,,, but I would disagree with you saying Moonraker is a great film it is definitely entertaining but there is far too much comedy and product placement in it and yes I agree the cinematography is phenomenal the most underrated Bond film is for your eyes only . Carole Boquet is a total smoke show
@DutchBondFan8 жыл бұрын
+DannyAbs I don't rank Moonraker in my top 10, (and I do rank FYEO there) so I agree. I think I was just saying it gets a lot of hatred and in terms of production there is a lot of beauty behind Moonraker which is what I was mainly refering too. When I get to my review of that film I'll explain to you exactly how I feel about the whole thing :)
