Just like Indiana Jones was great for its time but for now, well definitely not sure. Producers also need to make the movies reach more people. There are people who feel nostalgic with the old films but there are also many potential viewers who enjoy the new one. RIP James Bond and Chris Cornell. Daniel Craig was an excellent Bond with his portrayal. He reinvigorated the character for the modern age and defied expectations. Casino Royale is definitely my favourite Bond film and Craig's performance has a lot to do with that, as well as the action, story and side characters

Ever since I watched “Goldfinger” at 13 yrs of age, back in the summer of 1965, never thought any actor would surpass Sean Connery as the “Best James Bond”, but Daniel Craig has definitely changed my mind. In spite of all the vastly improved screenplays, plot twists, exotic locations, antagonists, cinematography, set design, and spectacularly choreographed action sequences, the actor Daniel Craig, with his devotion and respect for his fans, and the character, has redefined my iconic hero , and all action movie lovers have this man to thank for countless hours of motion picture nirvana. Thank you, Daniel Craig, your 007 will never be forgotten.

I can understand your anguish, it takes hell lot of time and energy to make a bond movie.6 months round the clock for shooting itself. Every actor wanes overtime. The same thing happened to Roger Moore. And Daniel started when I was in High school. Need to reboot the franchise with fresh blood and ideas suiting to this day and age. It's always best to quit when ahead of the game. This was a spectacular exit. Not a single bond ended on a high note in the past.

Now it seems like it was actually the opposite, may be he found it absurd to kill Bond! A lonely goodbye could have been more heroic. It felt like he kind of committed suicide without even trying to live. What's the problem if he can't 'touch' his wife and daughter? Atleast he could have seen his daughter growing up, from distance. It also didn't go with his characteristics as well, because it made him an escapist, trying to get rid of all agony of life. In short, the killing part was forceful.

Considering, that when Casino Royal came out, I wasn't really sure about Craig, but over the time I have admit, he became my favorite. I grow up in the 80s/90s and on TV the Bond I grow up with was Connery and Moore, and I enjoy them. Dalton is the least I like, despite he seems mostly the closes to the book depiction. However, Craig, combines both very well, he took over from Brosnan who was a mixture of Lazenby and Moore in my view. The movies seemed a bit more grounded and in my view, except of the last movie, what I really have no time to watch it again, he was a great Bond. One of my favorites.
