I'm not sure if james Bond movies would have made it to the iconic status that it holds without this MASTERPIECE. I was born in 1961 and this music makes me very homesick for my youth... The Bond movies were unbelievably awesome for an adventurous young boy (most young girls weren't into it at that time.) but this piece was equally responsible for the franchise's success... I hope that somewhere in the future holds another Daniel Craig and another song like Skyfall... I can only hope...

Although the screen indicates that John Barry wrote the signature Bond Theme song, Monty Norman actually wrote and composed the "James Bond Theme" and received royalties from 1962 until his death in 2022. Norman collected around £600,000 in royalties between 1976 and 1999. John Barry, however, did make an enormous contribution to the Bond Theme song, with his stunning orchestral arrangement, and, of course, Barry went on to compose--as well as arrange--other Bond songs. And guitarist Vic Flick's electric guitar playing was also vital to the music.

One of the best new yet original orchestration versions I've heard. Good extended semi free jazz section near the end and then a unique and very effective climax to it all.

Appreciate the performance that The Danish National Symphony Orchestra creates! A great piece what ever they do. Interesting to watch the folks in the orchestra do what they have spent years to do! Thank You all so much for your passion, your diligence and your love of music! Truly helps lighten the load for so many in this life. Thank You all. Just so spot on in so many ways with your symphonic renditions of so many classic movie soundtracks. I bet you guys are the bomb with classics too!

I've seen this movie numerous times and I simply love it, but seeing and hearing this spectacular performance of its sound track, brings it all home and completes the circle for me. This performance is amazing and is a stunning example of man's God given creativity and all that is good and all that is wholesome in man. The beauty and artistic importance of this can't be overstated. It's as immortal as man himself.
