Would love to, but not so far from me (Portugal). Any chance your orquestra would play nearer (like Spain, or even better here in Portugal) for example? Love to see / hear your performances from the movie themes. Please never stop posting these masterpieces, and truly honouring their original composers! Cheers from Portugal!

Soundtrack maybe, but the movie is the top for Italian westerns. Can't compete with The Searchers starring John Wayne and some others in overall westerns. Although a great western it cannot compete with John Ford's vision. I don't even think Leone would say it did.

We are travelers on a cosmic journey- stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. But the expressions of life ephemeral, momentary, transient. Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, once said, "This existence of ours is as transient as autumn clouds. To watch the birth and death of beings is like looking at the movements of a dance. A lifetime is like a flash of lightning in the sky, rushing by like a torrent own a steep mountain." We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment, but it is transient. It is a little parenthesis in eternity. If we share with caring, lightheartedness, and love, we will create abundance and joy for each other. And then this moment will have been worthwhile. Many have given a lot sharing their love and talent like Ennio Morricone bringing to millions exceptional music and harmony.

What a dazzling work of art! All done with human voices and orchestra. No synthesizers, no computers, just people! The woman who sings the "wa wa wa" has to be the best whistler in the world. And a live performance to boot. No mistakes. Just perfection. When the music shifts to the piano theme, it just instantly evokes scenes from the movie in my mind. This music is timeless and elevates the original film to a higher plateau. Ennio Morricone - genius! The mannequin hanging from the ceiling was a nice touch LOL!

She is certainly a very very good whistler, certainly in the top 5%. I know, because it took me 7 years of practice to be able to whistle like her, along with perfect pitch and whistling out and in so no breath needed. Even she can whistle for 15 minutes without getting sore and after 5 minutes of advanced whistling I need a break lol

this soundtrack is not only sublime but it also reminds me of my childhood. every time i listen to it my heart jumps in my throat. There was no TV in homes yet (Southern Italy, 1967, I was just 6 years old), but there was a cinema in my small town. We went to see the film as soon as the cinema opened, at 4:00 pm. And that time we watched the film three times, until late at night.

I'd seen a documentary about 20 years ago on Spaghetti Westerns and it was about Sergio and Ennio collaborating on their movies and the commentator said that Sergio told Ennio to write some music and he would write the movie to fit the music. If true that's amazing. It was also noted in Once Upon a Time in the West the musical score was blared out during the buggy ride through town to Sweetwater to keep everyone focused. I surely regret not recording that doc now. The music is awesomely awesome.

I confess that I watched with tears in my eyes. I have never seen a symphony orchestra perform a song in the smallest detail. 100% exactly the same as the original of the great Ennio Morricone. Christine and Tuva sing too much, the whole orchestra is sensational and Sarah, beautiful and very talented, conducting everything brilliantly. Congratulations to The Danish National Symphony Orchestra.
