The first Bond film I saw was "The Spy Who Loved Me." It had all the right qualities: A super rich villian, two fantastical bad guy bases (Atlantis & Liparus), proper women, Bach and Munro and a brilliant henchman, Jaws. Not forgetting the gadgets and the Lotus. The old Bond films were magic. And I prefer the old staged fight scenes.

I saw "The Spy Who Loved Me" first when I was a kid and to me that movie is still what a James Bond movie is all about. Heck, the whole concept was re-used again in Moonraker, and later in Brosnan's movies. Live and let die is an underrated Bond movie. It's got a funky 70's soundtrack and great humour. Not to mention Moore re-imagined the character and knew he'd better not act like Connery.

firstly i'd like to point out that this filom was made in the 70's. Secondly Bond fight scenes are always good for their time, you should try watching any other 70's action films and say the same. And finally if you think it's that bad why did you watch it? It's a pretty specific video to search for I doubt you came across it by accident.
@neo-filthyfrank13474 жыл бұрын
Good God would you stop complaining. And no, the fight scenes aren't good "for their time", very often they're very sped up and unconvincing. Bruce Lee's films of the same era actually look good, so yes, James Bond fight scenes are exceptionally crappy even by those days' standards.

I think the screeching sounds of the train and the small space of the compartments make it epic enough. The fights with Largo and Zorin had music though, and that was pretty cool :)
