@@EverythingAnthonySOS You're talking 40 years ago, lol. Probably would have been wood/fiberglass. I have to admit though, steel sounds amazing. I taped it out on the floor like you did. I had just read " A Night To Remember" and " The Night Lives On" by Walter Lord.

@@EverythingAnthonySOS like a diorama I think they call it make the thing massive underwater you spot lights to light it up make it look cool as shit also the Titanic tragedy now incorporates oceangate is part of it so by putting a Titan model there would make this such a legit scene anyways think about that'll give you something to do for like 2 years

Typical model builder - starts off in a shed thats waaay too small. There really isn't any reason that you cannot retain the ship in two pieces, either from a purely display item, to even scale model steaming. I would even suggest a "flip top" superstructure for internal detail viewing, and ease of transport. While the steel frame is a good idea, I would suggest the main panels in Fibreglass, as you are going to hit the scale weight deadline very, very soon. Either that, or start you covered 2 tonne, 4 wheeled trailer or bigger shed, now.
@EverythingAnthonySOS Жыл бұрын
All Valid point's , I do like the idea of a flip top superstructure, thankyou for taking the time to comment

The Titanic is my favorite as well. I just didn't like the newer movies of the Titanic. I like the original movie called A NIGHT TO REMEMBER back in 1953-54. It was based on the real story of the Titanic. Not that Hollywood made of film.
