Jaws was saved by the editors not by Spielberg. Cameron WON an Oscar for editing Titanic. Spielberg is not in Cameron's league, at all. One is an innovator of technology, the other is a tired and lazy director.

I don’t argue with the fact that Cameron is a cool director because he gave us such masterpieces as Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Titanic and Avatar and almost all of his projects received an Oscar, especially Titanic which still has the most Oscars among all films (11 Oscars is for you not flowers) not a single film has yet managed to break its record for the number of Oscars, even “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” and Avatar is to this day the highest-grossing film whose record has not been broken even by “Avengers: Endgame” Well, Spielberg spoiled Jurassic Park for us which looks masterpiece and to this day there are dinosaurs like real ones and made very realistically and Spielberg also gave us jaws which was the highest grossing film before the release of Star Wars and he also gave us 2 parts of Indiana Jones in Cameron's films the graphics are better because of the avatar, that's all I still think Spielberg is cooler.

T2 started it for me when I was 4 at the cinema with my dad. I hadn't seen Jaws yet, and Jurassic Park was around the corner. So I'm team Cameron. That and E.T. was a family film, but it wasn't better than John Carpenter's "The Thing."

Between 1984 and 1997 Cameron was able to do the Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, Terminator 2, True Lies and Titanic. From 1997 to 2028 he has only done avatar movies, A franchise he thinks more than anybody else. There is only one director like James Cameron and an over three decade period he has only done avatar movies shows me that he has wasted his talent.

You forgot to mention James cameron's the terminator is a ripoff of a twilight zone episode with the same storyline. A solider from the future sent to the past etc.... True lies was a remake of a french film. Not an original idea if you know what i mean. And F@$# Avatar!!! He totally ripped off Kevin Coastner's Dances with wolves.
