This week I am creating a fake James Charles mini makeup palette! By fake I mean edible, and by edible I mean cake. Not only is this going to be a colourful cake on the outside, but it is going to be a rainbow surprise inside. We wanted it to be as bright and colorful on the inside as it was the outside. We covered the cake in tasty vanilla buttercream frosting and then covered a square cake in black fondant.

For everyone who says it looks like James Chanes, Yess I thought so too! But she spelled it the way it looks on the pallet.. James writes his r and l so close together it looks like an n. So she nailed it! I was crying inside when I first saw it cuz she did such a good job!

After diving into your videos and binging quite a lot of them over the past 2 days I am kicking myself for returning a whole bunch of cake decorating items my mom bought me for Christmas about 5 years ago. Fun fact; I was employed at Dairy Queen as a teenager as a cake maker and decorator. It was SO fun. I mostly used whipped icing, gel food coloring, gels, and air brushing. It made my shifts go by very quickly because I was using my creative outlets and having fun creating whatever I thought would sell. The only thing I hated about decorating ice cream cakes was the time crunch. I was under a lot of pressure to decorate very quickly because ice cream melts very fast.
