I think you have found your calling, Sir! Thank you for all your great work.

James was from a stable supportive family but the media or at least folklore wants to present him as a lost rebel. His death must have created a huge void in the family and he sure was well loved by them.

He and his father weren't close, he wasn't raised by him after his Mother died. That has an affect on a child but doesn't say his Father wasn't supportive. He was raised by family in a small farming community, which is stable and supportive.

He was extremely close to his Mum, so when she died when he was a boy, it definitely left a noticeable and huge void in him. Shortly after, his father sent him to live with his Aunt and Uncle.

Dean's rebellious nature was probably the result of his upbringing. He lost his mom at an early age. Fortunately, the Winslow family provided a home and family environment for him, but he was not destined to spend his life in quiet Fairmont Indiana. Life's path took him from Indiana to California, to New York. The stage and film industry allowed him to express his artistic qualities. He was definitely a self made man. Few people got to know him well. His life was cut short, and the world lost an interesting and talented person.

Oh wow Jordon, that was very special. How wonderful that this man can tell the world about the "brother" he knew and loved. Those photos of them together say everything. It makes me sad that they couldn't grow old together and be able to sit in that garage together and remissness about their lives. It is wonderful that he is willing to share his home and his memories of Jimmy's life. It was a miracle for James Dean to have and Aunt and Uncle who took him in as their own and loved him as their own, along with their children. From all I've heard you say, that town, that house, was a wonderful place to be a kid. Thank you Jordon. Amazing.

Marcus Winslow Jr. is a great guy and a credit to Jimmy. You can see why Jimmy was so awesome. Big hearts the Dean and Winslow families have. Marcus is the one closest we'll probably ever get to finding out about the true James Dean. To us fans, James Dean was a legend and his death at the age of 24 was a tragedy, but to his family and friends, he remains simply Jimmy, a beloved friend and loved one. Thanks for this interview and to Mr Winslow, thank you for your kindness to us fans. RIP, Jimmy. Your films live on.

As someone who raised my nieces as my very own, not yet having my own kids, I know why his Aunt & Uncle thought he could do no wrong. James was their first "Born" and the loved him as such. My nieces are my world, and I can't imagine my own children changing how I feel about them someday. They spoiled James for 6+ years before Marky was born. That was their baby for sure! 😍

Thanks so much to u and to Marcus for sharing so much about James Dean. The photos which were shown at the end of this vlog are incredible. My mom was a fan James Dean and later in my teens I had the photos of James Dean on the wall. And I see that James Dean is still known in your generation. I am German and have been all over the U.S. while visiting your beautiful country but have not made it to Indiana in my trips. Kind regards from Germany, Sabine

Funny thing about Fairmont. In the 1970's, for a brief time, Amtrak re-routed its' "Cardinal" passenger train between Cincinnati and Chicago over the C & O Railroad line which passed through James Dean's birthplace. I was booked in a roomette, but fell asleep for some time before we arrived in South Bend. The conductor later told me that he took great pride in advising the passengers about James Dean when the train passed through Fairmont.

That was an "EPIC" vlog Jordan!! 😁 What a cool guy Dean's cousin is for being willing to share with you and your subscribers! I loved it when he laughed at Shelley's story and her impression of Dean. Just great to gain personal insight into the legendary man by someone who grew up with him! Dean definitely had that certain spark that set him apart from others and which was undeniable There's no doubt that his relatives who took him in after the tragic loss of his mother at such a tender young age gave him the much needed loving guidance to pusue his dreams! He definitely sounded like he was seriously tempermental and I'm guessing alot of that was the loss of his mom and strained relations with his dad. The combination of the two was a recipe for the making of a great artist! Since his cousin mentioned he was alot like his on screen characters I'll definitely be checking out his movies from our local library soon!

I just gotta give you props for these videos. They are truly something else. There’s a funny old connection with Jimmie that one can’t quite put into words. You touched on it briefly with his Cal Dean moment of pause. Our appreciation of him goes beyond his Hollywood image and to the human being on planet Earth. I believe life goes on after death, so when we show our admiration of him I really do believe he feels it in some real way somewhere. Anyway, great job. 👍

Awesome job. This Vlog has really transported me to meet and know in deep more of this fantastic legend from the 40's and 50's era. James Dean has always been in my list to visit and pay my respects to his remains, but not being able to be close (I live in Florida) across nation: my dream will never come true. At least with your hard work on these blogs truly makes you feel you are really there. Thanks for your hard work and making possible to transport your viewers to the locations you visit. Truly this is work of art. Thanks once again. Keep up the excellent work.

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview no so much more about James Dean’s family and upbringing through this vlog. Excellent job Jordan. Your mother must be proud. You made a James Dean fan out of me. Those photos towards the end were so beautiful with his cousin as a youngster. ❤️🙏🏻🌈⭐️

WOW!!! Well you truely out did yourself with this interview. So lovely to hear real true stories about Jimmy from an actual family member who knew him. I loved the memorabilia of Jimmy in the case with the clothes and Warner Bros clap board, that was AMAZING. You were so fortunate to be able to go round the actual farm where he lived aswell, what a kind man to allow you that privilege. Fantastic vlog again Jordan.
