Many soloists seem to have only one vibrato, I hear so many types of vibrato in your sound that shapes the phrase and makes the sound so expressive, emotional, and colorful. As for more of the same... I can't help to wonder if Brahms and Bruch influenced one another. I absolutely love Bruch 3, I have recently been acquainted with the Bruch symphonies and string quartets, what's not to love ? can one really ever get enough of his music? I paid money for your recordings of Bruch 1 and 3 and still enjoy hearing them even after repeated listenings.

This is such a luscious concerto, James Ehnes puts such tenderness into each note of the melody. Wonderful performance!

What instrument are the two guys playing at 6:01 called? Is it a special kind of trumpet? Really great performance
@uweshep4578 Жыл бұрын
Yes it's just a special trumpet. Rotary valves as opposed to the piston valves you are likely used to seeing. Horns (French horns) have the same kind of valves.
