Thank God James hasn't remained "cancelled" he's too skilled at making fun movies that are perfectly paced. I know there's talk of him doing Justice League in the future, but I personally would rather see him take the teen titans or even a more obscure group and make a film out of that. I personally enjoy how serious Justice League is taken, even the cartoons had the mythological dark mystery aspect. It would've been super fun to see a Batman year one made by James or even better a modern Batman and Robin. Of course with all the Batmen lately I think it'd be overkill but yea, God bless him. May he make many more ✌❤💯

Re: cutting great scenes, it's always shocking when we see them as extras, or even as unfilmmed script that answers questions. But pacing is such a crucial element a film, and most of the time, if you think about it, those scenes would bog down the pace, no matter how great they are. It's got to be the most painful part of the process, taking a great, finished scene, and leaving it out because it just doesn't quite work. But man, when a film's pace is off, it just sucks. I find, nine times out of ten, if the film isn't working and I don't know why, it's because of the pacing.

I'm not a moviemaker, so if I was given the budget to make whatever movies I wanted, I would have given them to other directors to make the movies they want: Francis Fod Coppola should have been allowed to make Megalopolis Don Bluth would have made Dragon's Lair Shane Acker would have made whatever animated project he has been working on Alex Proyas would have made Paradise Lost Guillermo del Toro would have made At The Mountains of Madnass (and Born) Neill Blomkamp would have made his Alien I don't understand why some of the multi billionaires doesn't finance as least one movie
