Fun Fact: This is the first ever Superman film to be titled “Superman” the one w/ Christopher Reeves was just called “Superman: The Movie” and also I want to say I love this teaser trailer it brings that sense of (HOPE) which is what the essence of his entire character/lore is all about. And what brings a tear to my eye is that little child during the scene where he’s holding that flag up of the Superman Symbol, just giving us the visual representation of the HOPE it’s truly breathtaking. And the John Williams Superman: The Movie (1978) score playing in the back w/ the guitar version brings that element of nostalgia. Can’t wait for this film, SUPERMAN IS BACK!🥹🙌🏽🔥✨(And I have no doubt in my mind James Gunn is gonna do a phenomenal job w/ this film there’s a reason he was the man for this job he has done Suicide Squad,Guardians Of The Galaxy Trilogy etc. so he’s used to taking on multiple characters in a film at once without taking the focus off the main character that being Superman in this particular film. One of the things I absolutely disliked about Zack Snyder’s “Man Of Steel” film was he focused on more of SUPER and not the MAN. And even with Clark Kent I trust James Gunn with that aspect of making this a tough but also emotionally charged film showing the hard & vulnerability of Superman it’s gonna be EPIC! Also last but not least Krypto is legendary and yea sure some might find it cheesy but I’m glad James Gunn isn’t afraid to step into that cheesy world of Comics cause that’s where the original reference point is for everything… Comic Books.)

My man! Always dropping 🔥 in the comments! You know what's so unique about this trailer? The sense of HOPE the community is feeling. And that's such a beautiful aura. James Gunn did such an incredible job with this trailer. Can't even imagine what the film is going to unleash! And I love your sentiment about Snyder's version of Superman. You are absolutely right. He focused too much on the SUPER part. What makes Superman such a unique character is the sense of hope and light. I can see Gunn going down the path of focusing and shining light on the human side of Superman. His humanity will bring light to conquer the darkness. Also... the music!!! Can we talk about the music!? Wow! Just... wow. A brilliant shine of awe and light. As I said in the video, this gives vibes of Superman the Animated series... and we are here for it!!! I can’t tell you how much I’m excited to be engulfed into James Gunn’s world of Superman he’s gonna crush it with not only Superman but Clark Kent as well! The trailer gave us the same feeling and just by that connection alone speaks volumes about how this film will touch us in a way similar to Superman The Animated Series & Christopher Reeves Superman as well!❤️✨

Honey and Brown got dat CinemaScope, hee hee! This James Gunn Superman seems influenced by All Star Superman by Grant Morrison if you've read it it's very Siver Age comics inspired.

Love the teaser, James Gun is cooking. Though I trust James Gun, I had some doubts about the final outcome and hope it turns out to be a huge success. And I agree with you guys about the dark theme; I love the darkness in DC movies, which is one of their strong plus points but has over the years it turned into their worst weakness. This Superman looks great, the colours, atmosphere, overall style, everything looks great, except for Nathan Fillion's haircut 😅

Absolutely agree with your thoughts! James Gunn is definitely cooking something special, and it’s exciting to see how this darker tone is being balanced. It feels like they’ve learned from past mistakes while still keeping that signature DC edge. You can't just focus on the darkness without giving people that hope that the light will overcome. And Superman has always fit that role. This is the definitive Superman (if Gunn can truly pull it off) for the ages! Totally with you on Nathan Fillion’s haircut-it’s hard to unsee, haha! Hopefully, this project delivers on all fronts and gives Superman the reboot he deserves. Thanks for sharing your perspective! Much love and appreciation from both of us 😊
