I spent summer vacation time on my uncle's cattle farm throughout my childhood. When the crops were finished in the fall, was when everyone in the community gathered to eat, drink, and dance. Sheep was a novelty, rare. So, I am enjoying your podcast. My heritage is Scotish, and family gatherings were always an event. My uncle's family farm is disbanded, sold in parcels and pieces. I then realized how expensive it was to keep family farming legacy going and how sons and daughters remove themselves. Big corporations moved in. I think banks and governments should open up easier avenues to allow family farms to thrive. Love your podcast!

Wow! I watched the video with Jim Craig yesterday, and now this one today. It feels like Christmas 😊😊. Awesome to see you out in the fields. Good fun and great information. I'm not a farmer, but you've turned me into a massive fan of all things farm related! Cammy, you're much more than average! If you add up the wide spectrum of skills you're " average" at performing, that shows your strength in life more than being great at only one thing! And remember, being an awesome partner and father gives you brownie points! Lots of love, and best wishes when your wee girl arrives.

Have to say that oor Chris would be fabulous on the podcast, especially now that he has a new cattle herd and is going to be a daddy as he says “a mini breaker of things” & I think a mini red haired little miss mini breaker of things would be fabulous, running rings round them all and then found snoozing under a sheep/coo/goat 😂. Very fond of Chris & Zöe I am, they have a spot in my heart as will baby when they arrive. @superseriousfarmer @chiefshepardess

Enjoyed this being outside, the one you did in the cow shed with the cows constantly trying to get in on the act was very distracting.
